Anybody care to guess who says this in their profile?

I did not tell the OW's husband about the A ... I had my WS confess to OW's husband when we met him in a coffeeshop.

No fair peaking.

Exposure to OPs spouse is so very important

I simply took it to the next level and included a confession/apology

Once that was over, my husband felt better about himself

Yea Pep, I agree. My reason for smiling was this picture of a somewhat recalcitrant husband getting his ear tugged in the right direction. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I needed the smile. I was on my way out of here because I just landed in a very deep place on another thread, got chewed on and I need to go lick my wounds for a while. I was trying to help someone who is in a situation I have lived through and was probably too close to for showing anything other than the emotional fallout. I picked at someone when I should have ignored it and then got followed around with blasts I should also have ignored. *sigh*

Thank you Pep, I appreciate the smile. And I appreciate all of the help you have given AP. I found her on another forum and brought her here for help I wasn't qualified to give her. I hope you continue to try and help her.

it was a boundary issue for me.

When I found out how long the A lasted ~~~ with the wife of his friend since childhood ~~~ I told H

"That's it. I am done"

and I meant it too

he said

"Is there anything I can do to change your mind?"

I told him "Confess & apologize to 'Fred' with me there to witness."

He originally balked, saying;

"Why can't we have the hurt stop here and not hurt 'Fred'?"

I said;

"In that case, I am out of here."

he then said he'd do it.
he called & set up the meeting.

It was the first step taken with integrity and courage for a long time...
