My husband started going through some changes back in Oct '06 right around his birthday. He would tell me nothing is wrong and we would go about our lives. Things with him where growing odder and odder. Around Christmas time I knew something was up private meetings, coming up with reasons to be gone.
You see we own 2 business' and one of them happens to be a bowling alley and the other one is a manufactured housing community. The lady he is involved with lives in our community and worked him over at the bowling alley.
The 1st of the year he stopped coming home at night. He spends the nights with her and the days with me. I have been through most the the emotional aspects of this. I'm loosing lots of weight, have attacts of some sorts (stress related I'm guessing). I have asked him to move out, seeing he doesn't really stay here anyway. He shower and changes here but doesn't sleep here. He has some cloths at her home already but not everything. I don't want him to move completely out but it hurts so much waiting for him to come home everyday.
We have 2 boys 17 & 16. Been married 18 years. I feel he is going through a midlife crisis or something but how do I get him to come back home. I don't pressure him about this in hopes that he can sort this out on his own. The site of this woman or her 2 children even her vehicle. Angers me, upsets me and makes my stomach upset.
People tell me that I am holding up well and think that this doesn't bother me. My response is "I'm like a duck, on top of the water I'm calm and happy. But underneith the water I'm out of control. Normally, I'm a very private person, but do to the fact this issue happened at our business the entire town knows. People tell me leave him, divorse him, kick his butt out. I still feel that this is an issue he is going through that he will not talk to me about. We don't hardly talk any more unless it is about money, busineess or the kids. He won't talk about anything else, when I bring up the subjects he just sits there staring into space.
Is anyone out there that can help me to bring him home or do I just keep on waiting? If waiting is the answer, how long do I wait?
Our children don't want him around. They feel that he loves her children more than them.
Confused and uncertain
