Mimi you are not going to believe it. I had gotten up and myself and the kids ready and kiss my DDH goodbye and on the way there I called to make sure that my appt was for 11:00. The respectionist said yes it is for 11:00 tomorrow. I said I thought my appt was for May 9th @ 11:00 and she said it is. Today is the 8th. I was to out done. I was glad I called before I went all the way there. I thought that was to funny. LOL. I guess I must be more than looking forward to this. I can't even wait.

Mims I am excited but kind of scared how long did you have to stay off your feet after your sugrey? Do you think it would be a good idea to wait until the kids are out of school to schedule it?

I had the tummy tuck because when I was only four years old I had kidney surgery and had a pooch that was NEVER flat no matter what I did...Then, of course, we had our DD and that didn't help things...

I say go for it Dig, you'll never regret it, IMO...Yes, it's painful with a recovery time of around 6 weeks, but it is well worth it! Actually Mr. W did it for me as part of his Plan A-he knew that I would be "down for the count" for six weeks and unable to contact OM-actually the affair was over by that time, but it was still a great plan on Mr. W's part as far as I'm concerned...Being supportive during illnesses had never been his strong suit in the past, but WOW did he pamper me to death during my recovery and I soooooo...loved that...MAJOR lovebank deposits!!! He was an angel!!!

I didn't need an armlift, but I did want to make my upper arms a little smaller, so I had lipsuction done on them..Now that was NOT worth it at all...MAJOR PAIN for VERY minimal payoff...I really can't tell a difference at all! I still have residual numbness in them 2 years later!

Oh yeah, I'm also a big fan of Botox, Restylane and Radiance!

2 years ago July 25th (my birthday!)...The major pain is only for about 2 weeks I'd say-you feel MUCH better once they remove the "drainage bags"-Oh those are such fun...NOT...Gosh, I don't remember how long I was swollen...I was VERY happy immediately after, so it wasn't that bad...You can't stand up straight for a few weeks afterwards, that's kind of a pain, but still worth it! You wear compression garments (girdles) for 6 weeks afterwards...not that much fun, but again, OH SO WORTH IT!!!

Actually I've gained weight dang it!!! My tummy has remained totally flat though! I'm DIEting right now as a matter of fact! I don't remember too much about the eating...EXCEPT that Mr. W made the BEST chicken fried rice on the day of my surgery!

If I think of other things I'll let ya know! They will tell you a lot tomorrow...I'm looking forward to hearing how your appt goes!

Mrs. W
