Can someone tell me where to find the details of Plan A/B on the MB website? I think I am in Plan B (I left my husband 6 weeks ago), but would like to review the details.

I'm new to the forum, and looking for support. Married 25 years. A year ago my husband told me he'd not been honest with me for at least 10 years, and had been "hanging out" at the strip club in town 2-3 nights a week (after work, after golf, after baseball, etc.). I also have found condoms a few times in his briefcase, and he smokes pot frequently (at least 4 times a week). He's also clinically depressed, but claims his meds (lexapro) have cured him. He takes the lexapro daily.

Less than a week after I moved out he started internet dating, and I discovered that he had sex with someone in my bed! I was hysterical about the betrayal, but he says that it was my decision to move out, that he has a right to a life, and his choices are none of my business. He is a very prominent and highly respected professional in our community, and I'm afraid people will not believe that I had reason to leave him.

I have a lawyer, I am back in my house (husband bought a house about a mile away so he could keep walking the dog in our neighborhood!), but sometimes I am so lonely for him that I begin to lose my determination to stay strong and independent.

Sorry this is such a long post, there's just so much sadness and stress. I have 2 sons (21 and 24) and they have been very supportive.

Welcome, Ruth.

Plan A and Plan B are under the Infidelity sections. There may be a link to it in the first two posts on Emotional Needs.

Wow. Your story is tough. Your husband's behavior seems to be becoming increasingly risky. It's important to note that Plan A won't work on someone who is addicted to drugs, or has a mental illness. I'm not sure about sexual addictions. If friends and family will bring pressure on your H to change is bad behavior, you may want to fill them in.

Plan B may be more effective. That means you cut off all contact.
