I'm trying to help a BS figure out a possible inappropriate text message. Does anybody know what "fsu" might stand for? I'm stumped.

I know....it's weird. It's a business correspondence....a short note on a blackberry. There's no doubt that it's inappropriate....but to what degree? Knowing what "fsu" stands for might be revealing. Could be a private abbreviation....I just don't know. The short note from the husband is to a female associate....just a few lines answering a business question....but then, he signs off "fsu chick". And the reply that comes back is "Thanks Tiger".

Maybe it's a typo....but because of the "chick" and the "tiger" stuff....it seems suspicious doesn't it?

The first thing that came to my mind was our Florida team...Florida State University. There are some serious FSU fans out there. I believe the other poster was right about the tigers thing too. I think they're referring to their college teams.

Husband was unfaithful to me before and after our marriage, at least 7 times. I found out 13 yrs into the marriage. Trickle truth for an entire year. Several different d-days, so it was more like a d-year. Difficult recovery.

Call me stupid but that link didn't help me at all. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I have no idea what that means. I googled the letters today but nothing of any interest came up.

It's in there but not in the exact alphabetical order. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

It's not hard to guess. F is the default F, S is the default S and the other is just UP! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> What doesn't make sense is why??!?? Sounds like something a WS would babble. LOL!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

LOL, Orchid, I saw what it was, I still don't get it.

I guess I'm too old or it's "American" and I don't get it. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks so much y'all. Those of you that said it might refer to college teams were right. Turns out they are alumni of Florida and LSU. You guys rock. It still seems a little too familiar, but at least this isn't some kind of secret endearment or message.

Kiwi....I did the same thing you did....looked up all the possible meanings for the "other" possibility for fsu and still didn't get it. I guess I'm too old (and too American) too! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Star:

A true 'Nole would NEVER ID themselves as an alumni of "Florida"

U of Florida: East till you smell it, South till you step in it! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

However they did beat the Buckeyes! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Well it's babble no matter what language it's in. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

So the question is can one do both at the same time? LOL!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />
