They buried a sheriffs deputy yesterday, killed while on duty. A week ago some POS finds out his wife is having an A. He gets drunk, takes about $200 of cocaine and takes off down the road. The sheriff’s deputy tries to pull the guy over. The guy takes off trying to out run the cops. The chase ends up at a house where the guy jumps out of his car and starts shooting at the deputy. He ends up shooting the deputy in the face which kills him.

Backup was right there and saw it happen and returned fire, but missed. By now the killer takes off into the nearby woods and the search is on. Within 3 hours the cops capture the guy with help from police from 3 counties and the state patrol.

My neighbor (cop) was a pallbearer. Three of my neighbor’s are cops. I tried to talk to them last week, but I couldn’t – too many tears. I’ll give it some time. The pallbearer neighbor work the same overnight shift as the deceased officer.

Cops came from all over our state (Wis.) and some from around the country. Over 200 police cars were in the procession that lasted over 1.5 hours.

The sheriff’s deputy leaves behind a wife and 7 year old girl. The last words at the cemetery were from his little girl “daddy I miss you, I love you”.

breaks my heart.

(((((Maybe2late)))))

One of my sons is a Police Officer.

My heart goes out to the family, friends, brother and sister officers and deputies, and all who are feeling the pain of the loss of one of those who did his best to stand between us and evil.

God bless.
