What do you think your innner voice is? And, do you do what it says all the time?

it depends on the situation...

my "inner voice" as you call it is usually my gut feeling and my gut feeling is usually right. i have learned to follow it and NOT ignore it.

i also know what there is a voice that is God talking to me. I feel at peace than, be still, i listen, and i obey the direction. when i don't listen or i worry or stress or don't trust in HIS voice inside of me is when things get hairy.

so i guess i have 2 inner voices.

but my first one i talked about is probably like an instinct voice and i have just learned to follow it because it is usually right on target.

well, I have an inner voice that sometimes talks some serious SMACK to me, and I attribute that voice to my EMOTIONS. My emotions are always very reactionary and usually very misleading, so I have grown to handle them carefully and put them in the BACKSEAT.

Then, I have another inner voice that I believe is driven by God, ie: my conscience and my LOGICAL MIND. Perhaps even my instincts. They all seem to keep the boat on an even keel. And sometimes they don't... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

So, I asked this because throughout my life I have *at times* not listened to that voice and have decided as an experiment to always listen to it and see what happens.

As most of you mentioned, there seems to be more than one inner-V. The one I've decided to always comply with is the one that tells me "don't do it". lol

I think your inner voice is what you know deep in your soul to be true...however I have learned over the past several monthes to sit on those feelings for awhile, because usually they change..or maybe I just talk myself out of them. Denial possibly?

I think all people have two inner voices – the one is good and the one is bad – and each person have a choice on which one they are going to listen to… I can best explain this by the following little story about the battle that goes on inside people e.g ”The two wolves”. Here it is:

[color:"blue"]THE TWO WOLVES

One evening an old man answered his grandson’s questions about good and bad people. He told his grandson about the battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between 2 “wolves” inside us all.

One is called Evil – It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pried, superiority and ego.

The other is called Good – It is joy, peace, love hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about if for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “But which wolf wins?”

The old man simply replied, “The one you feed the most.”[/color]
