Anyone here familiar with the Mort Fertel Marriage Fitness program?

I haven't tried the program, but I get the newsletter and forward them to my H. Sometimes the content is perfect for that day! But they always have something useful in them, and (of course) an ad for doing the program. If we end up trying it, I'll let you know ... otherwise, I hope someone else has tried it and can weigh in for you. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I get the emails as well and they are very good. A bit too much advertising at the bottom but you can ignore that part. The advise really helped me when I first found out about my husbands affair. I ordered the audiotapes and they were pretty good. Same type of advise. My husband listened to one with me but it was very repetitive and monotone and he said he got the message the first time he said it. I think I would have rather just had the book.

Me-41 WH-41 Married 18 years S-14, D-20 DD#1-OCT 06-told me hes leaving me for OW DD#2-May 8/07-actually left with OW May 15/07-ended it with OW

worked thru the first portion.

Some similarities to MB, some significant differences.

Biggest one I've seen is he doesn't condone exposure. Says it creates way too much baggage than it eliminates.

Also, basic concepts are different. First you set aside your problems - DO NOT attempt to discuss or even consider. Second, reconnect thru a series of exercises that i haven't got to yet. Then finally, once relationship is strong enough, THEN you address problems.

Fundamental differences noted so far. Will update as I move thru it.
