I have missed everyone here, especially those who helped and encouraged me through my darkest times. I am now emotionally whole again and graduated college 2 weeks ago..seems like a lifelong dream.

I have 4 interviews lined up starting Wednesday(pray for me!!!)

To those just staring out..you will get through, If I can be any help at all I will be glad to..just drop me a note. I have been so busy trying to get through the tough medical program that I havent had time to check in often (a sign of healing???getting on with my life???)

Even though I havent had time to check in, I still think fondly and often of those I got to know through this great site. I pray for many of you often as well. To those who have been special to me, I hope you are doing well..let me know!!!

Smiles,
Dawn

My 1st interview tomorrow is for a perinatology position High risk pregnancy)

After that I have to make my way to Phiily for an interview in a big city trauma center. Then I have to hightail it back home for my class which goes to 6pm..long day ahead..Please pray for me.

Of course it did.

Did you try Cooper? Don't they have a great trauma center?

A girl from my class got hired there. There are not many openings and most spots are filled by students who have spent their clinical rotations there.

There is not an opening at the site I am at and I love it there and they like me as well but not a position for me there now which is why I am applying everywhere. I have been called for interviews for several places though and the city one yesterday looks promising!!!

During the interview the supervisor was reading my references (my clinical coordinator for the school) and said he knew well one of them, he had hired her many years ago. After I got in my car and on the road, I called her to let her know this guy was probably going to call her for a reference and she told me he already had. He muct have picked up the phone the minute I walked out the door.

He asked her wha she thought and she told him, "If I was in your position to hire someone, I would hire Dawn"

couldnt get a better reference than that!!

And he told me that hospital pays well!

Thanks for asking...How are you anyway???

Congratulations Dawn! I'll be going full time in the fall for art teacher certification. It will take me 3 semesters of school and one for student teaching, so two years.

Good luck on the Philly job. When you get that, you will gain the experience to be paid what you desire at the location you choose. It's just a matter of time.

And supervisor's don't call references unless they are interested, particularly that quickly. YEAH!

Life is busy, busy & busy.

Congratulations, Dawn, and nice to see you again!! It's wonderful to hear that everything is going so well for you right now ~ you certainly deserve it!

I, too, sent an "add a friend" request.
