PG,
You may want to change the name of your thread to reflect what you're really looking for...you may get more appropriate help that way.

Well, I don't see edit anywhere. Should I create a new thread?

The "edit" button will only appear on your posts for you. Go to your first post on this thread and try that.

How was your counselling session? Hi! How are things going? Well, to start off with, I first met with a woman who was there on Sunday after the service ended (she works there). We went inside her office to talk. She has been asking me on what my mind was, & I told her about the whole situation of what I went through. She was coping & fully understood the whole situation, & has offered a prayer with me in hoping that things will get better as time goes on. She also said that I should talk to my mother about this & tell her how I feel about it. Not only that, she has even given me her card in which to call her & set up any more appointments with her should I have anymore problems.

Good, I hope you do as she suggested. You might want to set up an appointment with her after you talk to your mom.
I wish you luck.

Thanks. I definitely will. I forgot to mention to you, that I couldn't change the name of this thread. By the way, what would be the best place to post new thread about it? The "Other Topics" board, or somewhere else? Thanks!

"what would be the best place to post new thread about it?"
That depends. Do you know if you happen to be an OC (other child)? Was your biodad married to someone else when you were conceived? If so, you may want to put it in the pregnancy/child forum. If not, you can try the Emotional Needs forum.
You may also want to include an apology to some who were alienated on this forum due to miscommunication. I know, you were treated harshly by some, but many of us (me included) are going through the most painful thing we've ever encountered. Some of the post were, shall we say, a bit insensitive.

I didn't act normal when it came to other's situations, & I do need to apologize for that. I was never an OC, thankfully. I only saw my birth father for about a year, & that was it. You've been such a great help, & I would definitely talk to you again should I have anymore problems. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the compliment. Here are some more questions: How did you come by this site for marriage building? Are you concerned with your mother's marriage? Have you led her to this site?
I do hope you find peace in your quest and that you continue to grow in your faith.

I do hope you find peace in your quest and that you continue to grow in your faith. Well, I came across this site by a friend of mine. I haven't showed my mother this site yet, plus I'm also concerned with her marriage not being able to work out. What should happen if their marriage were to go downhill? Then it'll be back to square one. I do appreciate your help on this matter, & hopefully, I'll be able to find peace that is happening right now. I won't give up on this matter. I have also posted this news on the "Emotional Needs" board as well.
