Ok I have a question. I am trying to find an alternative to cosmetic surgery. My H and I still have not come up with a POJA regarding this issue so I am to find out if anyone here has had one and do they help tighten loose skin as they claim? I need to know so I can see if I like the results of them instead of the CS. Thank you in advance.

DIG, why is your skin loose? Did you lose some weight? If so, how long ago and how much?

I gained and lost a lot of weight(80lbs) after having my second daughter and because I had four kids. I really need a tummy tuck. No matter what I do, lift weight, exercise, and watch what I eat it doesn't change. I am now down 20lbs and I look better but I still have the loose skin and it sucks.

Yeah, I had 2 8.5+ pound babies.....yeah, loose skin is a big flop in my book.

Mimi I think he does and this is why he is against it. My DSH is so sweet and good to me but he is very insecure. I know this is why he is against it. I have to say I love him but whenever I get ready to go out he does underwear checks to see if I have panties on. He really is afraid of losing me to someone else. I only want him. I just want him to understand that I want to be able to feel good about my body and that I am not doing it to get someone else. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> I love him but he drives me nuts just like me kids but only in a different way. It's not all about the cosmetics. My friend had one done and donated the skin. It was used later for a little girl who was a serious burn victim.

How about asking your husband if you can be a skin donor?

I have to say this. Last night the Spurs (our team) won the playoffs and my DSH was so excited. He stayed up until after 2 last night. I was so tired because I had been running all that day and had to get up at 7:30 to catch the step class I wanted to take. So I went and laid down at 1:30am and tried to go to sleep but my DSH was so excited he followed me upstairs and still kept talking about the game. I didn't want to take that from him because I know he has been a Spurs fan since he was 14. So when he actually let me get a word in I asked him if he thought anymore about letting me get the PS and he said huh. Then I said I knew you heard me please answer me and the next thing I know he was quiet as a mouse and before long I was able to go to sleep to.

What makes this so funny is that I didn't really want to talk about the PS I just knew that he didn't either and that if I brought it up I knew he was going to clam up because he is a major conflict avoider. So in essence we both got what we wanted. I got him to be quiet so I could go to sleep and he got to avoid a conflict. I think this is the another option to avoid conflict. BTW the way when I got up this morning I laughed all the way to the Y. I thought this was to funny.LOL <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

No silly I did celebrate with him.I watched most of the game with him and we even had a glass of wine together. I celebrated with him for 2 hours after the game went even though I was tired and I wanted to go to bed. Even though I am not really into sports I like to watch the Spurs with him because I love to see him all excited.

I didn;t do what I mentioned in my last post until after we celebrated for two hours and I couldn;t take it anymore.

Now seeing it this way do you still think I LBed? If so I will go and apologize to him right now.
