Does Plan A work if my husband is no longer living at home, doesn't consider it his home and lives with the OW?

I think so. I'm divorced. My XH was living with his GF (not an A, the relationship happened after we separated and was never a secret) - but since she moved out again (when I decided I wanted to try again and saw an opportunity) I have been consciously doing Plan A when I see him and I think I'm making progress. I'll defer to the long-timers here - they may suggest B at this time - I'm not sure.
