Interesting.....I wonder why they waited until they found her body to arrest him? The story didn't really offer much information as to the evidence they have against him (besides motive).

My guess as to why they waited until the body was found to arrest him, is they had to match his DNA to traces of DNA (defensive, etc.) on her body.

In the press conference it was made clear that no information about the investigation was going to be revealed before the case goes to court. A statement was made and then just about every question was answered with "I cannot reveal that information". Fox News reported that there are all kinds of rumors flying around, but they would not put them on the air or on the website.

That man murdered his unborn daughter and the woman carrying her right in front of his son. And the baby girl was only 2 weeks till delivery. There aren't words to describe such a henious act.

he should be shot! I am suprised but not shocked... dumb, mean, horrible and baffling considering he already had one child with this woman and there was no supposed discord.
Sad.

The only thing that surprises me is that he didn't also murder his son.

Death by bullet or injection would be the easy way out for him.....He deserves a lot worse...

Seems Bobby Cutts Jr. has illegitimate children all over the place.

Given the timing, isn't it a bit insensitive for Ohio Law Enforcement to give a "One Bad Apple" damage control speech? Link: Click Here Navigate to the "NBC Video" and click "Launch". The 3rd speaker (Chief Dean McKimm) is the speech I'm referencing.

why would that bother you so long as they are admitting to his being the bad apple?? I am content with that.

See, my thinking that it is not the cop is more practical than anything. He knows he would be an immediate suspect and the crime was too sloppy. So unless he is a complete dunce, I don't think he did it. A cop would know how to kill someone without the obvious mistakes this killer made. I know. I'm a BAD person.

I'd think they'd be more concerned right now with making sure the family of the victims hear their sincere condolences and assurances they're doing everything to see this reprehensible crime sees justice served.

the police are the reason this crime will see justice served. Since the family will have been working with them on a daily basis, I am certain that they are aware of this. I also saw on the news where the FIRST thing discussed by the sherrif was his sorrow for the family.
I think the timing is perfect and it shows that even though this was one of their own that they got to the truth and solved this crime in a very short amount of time. Now it is up to the court system to see that justice is done.
No doubt about it... every single cop that has been involved in this investigation is most likely very dear to that family right now...as the family is to the investigators close to this case. This type of murder will bring out the humanity in the most calloused cop. I know as a rookie... and it was just my second homicide... and I was still in my first month on the job, we had a 8 month old pregnant woman murdered right across the street from the district and I saw veteran cops, not just rookies like me, cry for the loss of life of both the mother and child. (As a side note, back then, the NOW (nat organization of women) used to fight the filing of murder charges for the fetus. They felt that the government was just trying to have the fetus declared a person. So... thankfully times have changed and this can now be done. I know in the case I worked, there was never any justice for the fetus, just the mother. But trust me, the families know how the law enforcement community feels about this.

Actually it was Bobby Cutt Jr. himself who lead the FBI to her body, according to the news. Your theory above is reasonable. However, when you factor in the "crime of passion" characteristics, all logic goes out the window. My theory is he lost it and went berserk. Jo

My theory is that he was cunningly clever. Since everybody knew he was a cop and everybody knows cops know how to commit a crime, he deliberatly made it messy to throw off suspicion.
But what about the baby on the doorstep?

But what about the baby on the doorstep? DNA/blood testing resulted in her not being related. Pio? Catch up dude. That is so yesterday's news.
