I didn't know about No Contact, as I hadn't found MB at the beginning of my FWH's affair, but I also wanted to believe him when he told me that they were no longer exchanging intimate text and email messages. They had to stay in contact, as they were involved in a work project (luckily they do not work together in the same place - OW lives in eastern Europe), so I had to trust that nothing personal was still happening. H kept reassuring me that she was keeping it professional. Unfortunately, just after my discovery of intimate text messages, their affair went physical.
