Please pass on your condolences to our dear friend, MrsW. Her beloved dad passed away unexpectedly this afternoon. This was quite unexpected [he died of a heart attack] and is very tragic for her family. She is leaving to go home and help her family take care of the arrangements.

Dear Mrs. W,
I know you will not be with us for a few days. My thoughts are with you as you prepare to realize the departure of your beloved father.

I was in your place two and a half years ago. Sing his praises and rejoice in his life.

Ms W,

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I still grieve the loss of my mother....even after 14 years....but please know, I also feel her PRESENCE every day in my life....even now.

One of my closest friends from college (whose mother shared the same name as mine) tearfully asked me as her own mother was dying "Star, How do you live without your mother?" I replied "I don't. I hear her laugh in my laugh. I have her hands. I look in the mirror sometimes and see her staring back at me."

I will keep you in my prayers and send you hope for the day when your joyous memories of your father return to you.
