If you are a WS out here tonight, thinking all is lost, I, as a BS, am here to tell you that your are wrong!!!

What you've done was horrible and wrong, but none of us is beyond redemption. You are probably feeling guilt and shame. A wise person here stated, that guilt is what you feel for harming someone else(ie; your spouse).
Shame is what you feel for harming yourself, and perhaps, your relationship with God.

I am only here to say that both can be healed and restored! Don't give up in the face of despair. This is Satan's tool to destroy your Marriage. M is satans's favorite target. This is because God is the author of M. Thus, to attack God, he attacks His institutions.

When you feel all is lost, ask god to intervene. It may not come out as you have hoped, but it will always come out as He willed.

Plan A is the most difficult thing in the world to complete in a sucessful manner. It requires much sacrifice and humbling on the part of the BS, but this humbling will produce more rewards than any other justifications you could evoke.

Stay strong all you Plan A"ers, you are are on God's path. All My prayers are with each of you, nightly.

All Blessings,
Jerry

My BIL keeps telling me the same thing: Satan has ahold of my WH & he's causing him to destroy our M. I believe him. I just hope I can hold out for awhile longer. If he takes that other job, I think I'm going plan B for awhile. I'm trying to hold on. Have you seen the movie "Broken Bridges" with Toby Keith & Kelly Preston? The song Lindsey Haun sings, "Broken", has become my theme song. It's very good. And just the way I feel!!!

If not, may I redeem him for a satin gown?

I guess princesses can't afford to be hysterical. Bummer. I think I shall go sit by the window and knit for awhile.

Cin,
OT, but how are David and Jilian?
I prayed for them outside the cave of ST. John while in Patmos.

David passed away on July 2. He was a remarkable man. Many of his friends spoke at his funeral. One of them told a story that will touch the heart of even the hard hearted.

He was at a hospice for a couple of months. One day, his fellow folk dancers (he had traveled internationally with the group) went to the hospice to dance for him. They performed one of his favorite folk dances, one called 'Joy After Sorrow'. They also did a waltz. David turned to his wife and said, "I didn't come to watch" then rose from his wheelchair, took his wife in his arms, and had one last dance with her.

While his healing was not the type for which so many have prayed, he ended his long battle with dignity and bravery. He was a friend and encourager to many. My life is richer for having known him.

Jillian is doing ok. She's a strong and tough little girl - but a little girl nonetheless. You may keep up with her and with her family at www.caringbridge.org Her page is entitled 'joyfuljillian'

Thank you so much for praying for them. I would like for everyone to hold the Pasley and Peak families in your prayers. The Pasleys for strength, courage, and healing - Jillian's 12-y-o brother was recently diagnosed w/ glaucoma. And the Peaks for comfort.

Well now, I read the first post and I see that it had been edited out of respect for Walmart. My eyes glazed over a bit as I ruminated upon that revelation. THEN I read down the page a bit and saw that Mel was involved, so I guess that explained everything, sorta. I thought she sold soda pop. Oh well.

As an aside, I am driving down the road one night kinda late and having trouble keeping alert. I pass by this one county courthouse and read the event marque they use to tout local events to people passing by in cars. It seems that one of the local lady's clubs was having a BBQ and SALID supper. That those of us who live in the Great State of Texas pronounce it that way kept me entertained for the rest of the miles to home. I am easily entertained.

All that aside, great post shine.
