Good catch SB.
For a fact, I know of four or five counselors who read here as two of them are friends of mine and another who uses his own name and I recognized it. I suspect one or two more who have just posted briefly as in testing the waters. Their language was consistent with what a counselor would use.
Except for the two I suspect, the others haven't posted, they just read. Reading for an hour or two here probably gets them tremendous insight in a very short period of time. My friends seem to think so. Who knows how many others have good cause to browse through the postings?

Well hun, if you haven't seen Canton in 11 years - it's *changed*! That's where I am I've been here 7 years and a bit. I haven't seen my homeland since I got here either - was going to try to get home for a few days this summer but I think I'm S.O.L. there. Nope, I've been back LOTS-I know how much has changed...My family is still back there...My best friend and her hubby are in Canton and that is why we have chosen there...You aren't a "Bridgemillian" by chance are ya? That's where we are gonna be when we get there! Wouldn't it be funny to be neighbors? Sheesh, you might know my best friend and her hubby even!!! Mrs. W ETA: P.S. Sorry for the threadjack SB!!! My apologies for the threadjack too... Nope I don't live in Bridgemill but a lot of my wealthy clients do. I'm a meager small business owner - Bridgemill is too rich for me - but it's only a few miles away Next time you're in town let me know - I know a great place for good Mexican food and killuh Margaritas (if you partake)... if not, there's plenty of other good stuff there too! See, she is casting her drivel about the site right now, yet refuses to acknowledge any questions to her.
It is surely a commercial trawl.

At least her sig line is changed. And it looks like the alter-ego FTAP is gone too.
But her advice is drivel, to be true, I agree with Bob. Lots of "atta-girl" crappola, etc. And "What are you prepared to DO?" lines.
Sometimes, the BS isn't prepared to DO anything - that is the beauty of Plan B.....read the SITE, peachgirl. IF YOU HAD READ THE SITE, you might have understood that "doing" something is not always in the best interest of the marriage. Not doing something is sometime the thing "to do".
Plus, she had to come here to give advice to somebody, because
Her site is lonely
Nobody goes there because
Her advice ____________________

Because this website is #1 for a reason.
The Harley's advice works.
It is research-driven. And I would put money on the idea that the Harley's are NOT on other people's websites combing for business on their forums.
The difference, Larry, is that there may be other counselors here, yes, but they are not posting their advertisements here, nor are they giving advice contrary to the Harley's, nor are they linking to their own websites which: advocate separation; put the BS in the place of having to do the work of recovery; and place the responsibility of problems in recovery on the BS because they have to "get over it" and stop the "pity party".

Is the site Torrmar has in his sig line (posted on 3rd page of Forgiveness thread on Recovery) and has posted in the Other Websites Forum the same that PP had? I never saw her site link.

RLT,
Use the practical joke on SOMEBODY!!!! It was so funny at the time, and let me tell you, I still laugh when I think about it.
Kara spent half the day leaving messages. We spent the rest of the day laughing about it.
And the next day laughing at her friend's response!
It was perfect.
I say, go for it.
But, don't forget to block caller ID!

Lucky to be where I am, in a safe place to get marriage-related support. Recovered. Happy. Most recent D-day Fall 2005 Our new marriage began that day. Not easily, but it did happen.

I checked the link on Torrmar's post. The website isn't the same as peach/FTAP. It is something that is supposed to pass as a marriage site, but isn't really anything but links to other sites and sort of a chat site.
Not much to speak of. AND, it is kind of a dating site, too, as there is a "searching for" link on the page as well. Not really a "marriage" site like this one is.
But really, Torrmar, this isn't the place to be advertising. Have some respect for those of us here who are trying to recover from infidelity and work on our marriages, and remove your advertisement from your signature line. If you want to advertise, please, do it elsewhere.

schoolbus,
did you see the post from FTAP on recovery? He claims to be sweetsoquet's husband from My Cautionary Tale on the PG board. What the heck is going on, I wonder?

I just replied to the post from FTAP.
Called him/her a liar, and told him/her to make himself/herself
nullibiquitous
which means existing nowhere
Also called him/her a "jackeen"
and
ultra-crepidarian
and told him/her we had wished he/she had left when we had reached satisdiction.
That should send him/her to the dictionary for a few minutes.
He/she admits lying about who he/she is. Well, DUH, I told everybody that to begin with.
However, he/she denies being passionpeach...I have my doubts since the writing style of the first two posts is nearly identical on the "If you ever cheated" thread on the Recovery forum. Read them for yourself. Also, passionpeach's website and the ideas posted by FTAP are nearly identical.
Makes me wonder about the "two different people" idea. Plus, the idea that they don't know each other also makes me wonder. Perhaps passionpeach is married to FTAP, who knows, and now she will become sweesobriquet???
Who knows?
At any rate, passionpeach has NOT responded to the question of WHY she is here.
She has specifically avoided that question.
So has FTAP. But now we are supposed to believe he/she is here to do...wait a minute, what?????
Be here in ADVANCE??? of sweetsobriquet???? to do exactly.....
WHAT again?????
Does anybody really know???
IF sweetsobriquet is in fact a BS, she is working against a WS who is an admitted liar who is NOT helping her here.
There is an uphill battle in that marriage, and IF this is a true story, his attempt to do whatever it is that he attempted to do
fell short
to say the very least.
