There is a new poster here, passionpeach, who has a website that is survivinginfidelity911.com and it offers affair advice. It also links to her own website marital-matters.com which is another website that offers counseling and the like for people who have had or are in affairs, or have had infidelity in the marriage.
My concern is that she is here offering advice to posters, and not using Dr. Harley's principles.
Additionally, she may also be the user finetoapoint.
finetoapoint's attitude is a "get over it" and "move on" mentality, and places much of the burden of recovery on the betrayed spouse, which is commensurate with the website that passionpeach links to.
I cannot, of course, be positive of my accusation, but it is upsetting that there is a person on the boards who appears to be drumming up business for herself and not using the principles that Dr. Harley has set forth - and doing it on HIS boards.
It is worth a check.
Thank you.

Agree, SB. I asked passionpeach directly why she was advertising her business here and never got an answer. I figure if she wants to drum up business, she can pay for her own website and not troll for business on the Harleys' dime.

It's okay LG, she does have her own website for drumming up business. Click on her username and then on her link at the top to her "blog". At the bottom, you will find her real name, and the link to her other site.
You will find her stuff there. I looked around enough today to be satisfied that this is not right. Passionpeach's website says she is one thing, a betrayed spouse, and then in reality is another, some sort of "counselor". Here, I don't know what she is supposed to be. FTAP refuses to answer any questions regarding her reason for being here, and has essentially disappeared - once we began pushing for a response to the question "why are you here", poof - gone.
Regarding the FTAP persona, I was just particularly annoyed by the lies at first, that she had five kids, then three. That she was one age, then another. There was a "divorce" that her husband talked her out of because it was, and I DO QUOTE, "silly".
Then one username, passionpeach, then another, finetoapoint. And if you check out the thread on the Recovery forum, the one where passionpeach started it talking about "if you ever cheated", you will see that the first post is peach, the next is FTAP, and the writing styles are nearly the same.
both start with
...
and there's more similarities, if you read them.
Then, go to the website, and you will see that the advocacy through the links is really toward separation, not really building marriages. If/when she talks of building marriages, it is geared at the betrayed spouse doing the work. The similarities to FTAP are remarkable, but the site is supposedly passionpeach's?????
After all, the BS had to have done something wrong to make the WS stray. Straight out of the pages of TOW. Which, by the way, her website's first page shares MANY links and ads with TOW, and some of the set-up looks similar. Too coincidental for my liking.
I have checked TOW, but don't see her writing right off the bat. But the idea that she's here, and has linked herself on the Harley's board is just rude, IMO.
Maybe passionpeach is a BW, who knows. I have a suspicion that she is a WW. At the very least, FTAP does lie, and has admitted that much openly.
But to come here and post advice, when in reality the fact is she has her own board for doing that, well....
She should stick to your own backyard (in this case, her own website) where she is free to hand out whatever advice in whatever manner she feels fit, whoever she is. This website is the Harley's, and the framework really is theirs, and to have another "professional" (I use the term loosely, as I do not know her credentials), come in here and utilize the site is just unethical. If in fact she is a licensed professional, I believe there are licensing and/or professional rules that might govern this behavior, and she might want to consider those rules.
Of course, that is my own opinion. In the words of Dennis Miller, I could be wrong.
But opinions are never wrong. They are simply opinions. Take it for what it's worth.

SB- Leave it to you to figure this out. All of it went right by me, although I was annoyed by some of FTAP's opinions.

I did surf over to her sites, but did not click on her username name for the additional info, My bad!
I really do not expect PP/FTAP to show up and defend themselves.
I did notice that there wasn't much info on her site, lots of links, that if you clicked thru, she gets paid on, so, she is trying to drive business to her site.
Thanks for pointing out all the inconsistencies.

Agree very much SB!!! BRAVO!!!
Not to mention that to top it off she is trying to pass herself off as a PEACH!!! ***GASP*** Everyone around here knows that *I* am THE PEACH!!! (Mel is NOT a PEACH at all-no matter what she tells ya! ) Well, of course there is JustPeachy, the original Peach of MB [to me anyway], but she's one of my pals, and a fellow Georgia girl at that, so I know she won't mind sharing! In fact, in the infamous words of JP herself, I think passionpeach should just "BITE THE PEACH"!!!
All silliness aside, it is VERY offensive for folks with a non MB agenda to advertise on the Harley's boards...

I thought about Vitaly too!!!!
But his grammar was so bad, and there's no way he could improve that fast!
But maybe the two (or three) of them could hook up.
Wait, wasn't he looking for "intelligent woman for marriage"?
Sorry, FTAP is "silly" - so maybe not Vitaly's type. He might like "date for fun, to speak five languages, talk rocket science, and sell insurance" though.
Maybe they need insurance? He might appreciate the link. He could post over there! --------------> Thataway, Vitaly!

That's where I am I've been here 7 years and a bit. I haven't seen my homeland since I got here either - was going to try to get home for a few days this summer but I think I'm S.O.L. there. When you're heading back this way, let me know, and I'll be sure to roll out the red carpet for you!!! The world gets a bit smaller every day. Today when I was out geocaching, I met a fellow player who is from a hometown near my XH's back in Canada. We'd met before and we each knew the other was from Canada but didn't get down to particulars. I think his wife is from Indiana - never been there yet. Who'd have thunk - coming right here to Canton! I tried to keep my clicks to a minimum, so she didn't earn any money from me, or as little as possible. Just enough to check her out.
I wish I had a mean streak in me. I once had this friend, Kara, who was mad at her best friend, I can't remember her name, but let's call her "Sandy". Well, Kara wanted to get back at Sandy, and came up with a really funny and fairly harmless practical joke.
Kara went through the want ads in the local paper, and started calling the numbers for the ads, and if she got an answering machine, left a message to call Sandy, and feigned interest in the ad. She left message after message: for puppies, kittens, houses for rent, and then she came upon the strange ads. This is where things got really funny. Kara left messages for psychics (you would think they would have known it wasn't really Sandy), and the cream of the crop was for a nudist trip for the weekend to a local camp ground. Kara actually talked to the guy, and asked if she could ride up in the truck with him, naked. She left the number for Sandy, and asked him to call her back again later when she was off of work so they could talk at length.
Sandy was livid!!!!! She called Kara and said she didn't know how she did it, but she knew it was her, and she would get her back! This was really funny at the time (we were all in college), and Sandy of course never topped it.
Sandy said she thought she would never get the nudist guy to believe she didn't call him.
Anyway, if I were really mean, I would have figured out an internet way to do this. But I'm not. So I won't. It was fun to think about it anyway.
