I'm primarily a lurker, but could not pass up saying Happy Birthday to a neighbor near I-55. I'm north of you in the "Weber Road corridor".
You know it could always be worse. You could be closer to I 80! or even worse I 88!

Personally I'm hoping to make it to I-285 (Atlanta) with some nips and tucks thrown in for good measure <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />...How cool would that be? My favorite aunt had a plaque in her house that read "Don't regret growing old, it's a privilege denied to many"...Ain't that the truth?

Actually, I'm only a couple miles south of I-80. I-80 and I-55, the armpit...I mean crossroads of America.
There are a few of us now in the west and SW suburbs. Perhaps we should start our own get together someplace. Of course we don't have a Big Boy near by and it isn't likely that Drew will stop in to visit, but we could probably fill a booth if nothing else.

Getting old isn't so bad when one considers the alternative...
