Hi Mel, it appears Pep decided very suddenly and unexpected to retire from the boards. Do you know if it was a sudden decision or did she plan beforehand to “retire” around this time? Just curious! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

As for Pep... aside from the "Have fun, be good" she posted in one thread, I didn't see reference to any "announcement" as such... has this been confirmed, other than we haven't seen Pep here in a few days?
Could she just be on vacation or something? Or did I miss something? I miss her already... she held my hand through a number of things...

Suzet, my understanding is that she had been thinking about it for quite some time and sort of eased into it. It was not a sudden decision that had anything to do with anything that has happened here.

Did she tell you herself, ML? Or are we all assuming based on that short "be good"?
Since she hasn't been around it may be a safe guess that she has taken her leave... I was just hopeful that it was a temporary thing. But for someone 11 or so years into recovery I can see where she may be in a place to move on.
I, for one, am very grateful for the help she's given me, and I hope other long-timers will stick around because my journey still has a long way to go!
