MISTER krusht??, he asks himself, looking around and behind for his father who actually passed away many years ago.
I am very well, MISTER PURE, my friend, thanks for asking.
Our marriage is also very good, treating each other tenderly and with great respect.
In fact, we just had to move my 87(!) year old mother and my step father (80) with full blown Alzeimers from their duplex in one state, 400 miles to Omaha Nebraska (the heartland!) into an assisted living facility with an alzeimer's wing.
My dear sweet wife went to Mom's 2 weeks early to help her with packing and trashing and taking care of step father. Then I flew there and we and other siblings moved them. So she is now the angel of the family. She did so very willingly and with love. I get misty now just thinking of her selflessness
Son's recovery is still slowly progressing. He can almost walk without a cane now, keeping it by his side for emergencies.
He is living with his mother in Colorado in his own little bachelor pad in the basement. He goes to the gym every day so he is very buff and still has some home occupational therapy going on.
He will never be the same and will probably not ever become totally independent or hold a job. He just turned 29 in August.
But he is still with us!! And we talk almost every day on the phone. We are playing the cards that we were dealt.
My health - still too much overweight, but we have joined a gym and have been going faithfully (not counting the mother move) and I am seeing some results.
TEMPER!!?? None of your %#@@*%@, ^*%&&# BUSINESS!!
HAHAHAHA!!
I am a mellow boy here in SoCal and enjoying life. We go up to Napa in a couple of weeks for our annual winery exploring and tasting. Life is good.
I was going to reply in protest to your other thread about how bundling all the free advise was much cheaper than buying everyone a beer, but didn't want to sound like a bar fly (pub grub?)
But, yes, a pint with you would be lovely.
Always good to read your posts, although they seem few and far between lately. But I totally understand the weaning oneself away from MB for our emotional well being.
Lastly, Geeze and I went to Madrid a couple months after your very descriptive account of your visit there and thought of your words more than once while we enjoyed the sights.
We also went to Portugal to Sintra and Porto. Enjoyed it all so much. (too much)
Again, thanks for the shout-out. It is a first for me, having my name on a thread title, and an honor that you were the owner. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
