Assumption:
every day, at the same time, television program A and B are broadcasted.

Person A likes program A and does not care much for program B.
Person B likes program B and does not care much for program A.

They decide to alternate on what program to watch. Monday they watch progra A, and Tuesday they watch program B.

But that is not a good way to solve things right? Not according to the Harley books. Could someone give an example on how they could solve this very trivial issue?

Note (I dont even own a TV and this is not a real situation. But this is just an example because I am just trying to understand how to solve things in a manner that matches the Harley books, as I totally agree, that is the only way).

thanks!

POJA The Policy of Joint Agreement.

If they used POJA to make their decision to watch on alternate nights then they are both happy campers and they resolved the issue to each others mutual and enthusiastic satisfaction.

They are both cool with missing every other show and are not going to be resentful over it.

Personally, I would just get a recorder.

Thanks!
at one point I had interpret that type of resolution as "tonight you suffer but tomorrow I will suffer" or something like that.
But I understand that if it is done with POJA and enthusiasm, then it should not be seen that way.
Thanks!

ps i'm leaving for a while so won't check for updates for a while.

Simple Answer! Get a tivo and record both shows, and watch both shows together! If it isn't a show you care for, get out the lotion, and rub your spouses feet!

win-win-win situation!
