I just happened to stumble upon this site because I have been concerned about my marriage.

My husband seems to be close to one of my good friends. She talks to him on the phone when she is calling for me, he goes to her house to "pick up the kids", and she emails him. He is always complimenting her and talking about her.
My husband is good friends with her husband as well and we do a lot together as couples.
Are they just good friends or should I be concerned? Am I just being jealous? He has never cheated on me before.

Welcome. Well, he have several hundred members whose spouses started out as good friends, and then had affairs.

How is the marriage otherwise? Are there things that he complains about?

One MB principle is spending 15 hours a week doing fun things as a couple, without the kids. Try doing that.

WhereDoWeGo,

Would you consider reading a book by Dr Harley, the founder of this website?

It is available from the bookstore on this site as well as many other sources though the price here is pretty good and it helps to pay the bills so he can continue to offer all of this free stuff. The book I refer to is "Fall In Love Stay In Love." It is often abbreviated around here as FIL/SIL. In it you will find Dr Harley's basic concepts and an explanation of his plan to develop a strong, caring, growing and lasting marriage.

Take a look around and ask lots of questions. If we can't find answers for you, we know someone who probably can...

express your concerns about the closeness of the friendship to your H, your friend and her H. If you guys are truly just friends, there is no need this should not happen. Also, your H should not be having private emails or conversations with any female...he is married.
Now that being said...if the ONLY time he talks to her is when she calls for you....and the only emails he gets from her are group distribution emails...then it might be okay. But I would say if your antenna is up....something is amiss...unless of course you have jealously issues that have surfaced before.
I personally would get all the cards on the table. Please know that if there is an affair of any sort, that you are going to need to make sure that he never sees or speaks to this person again. Also...consider picking better friends that won't participate in inappropriate conduct with your spouse.
