I've been posting for 14.5 months about the A, recovery, anniversary...I have recd 5 replies...only. Guess my posts aren't bizarre or juicy enough as in other posts as it seems thats what gets responses. Am I missing something?

Oh boy, are you ever going to get slammed with responses now.

I personally don't know anything about recovery, never made it that far, so I tend to stay out of those discussions and try to help when someone is in the beginning crisis, if at all. But even I, who is mouthy as all get out, can only concentrate on one or two threads or stories at a time. It's very draining. Just so you know the "why" on my end.

OK,here goes. It depends on what your marriage means to you.
Everyone is different. I will celebrate my first one in 3 yrs next time it comes up. I couldn't celebrate the last 2.
I felt that the marriage as I once knew it was sullied.

I am now ready to take a deep breath and get on with my life and marriage without wallowing in the past any longer.

I think this question is subjective and no one but you can answer it

LAT,

I don't know if you have told the folks here the long version of your story. Sometimes that seems to help put everyone in touch with your particular situation. Otherwise, you get kinda lost amidst the never ending stream of BS here.

BTW, in response to your anniversary post. Skirmisher and I just "celebrated" our 10th anniversary. It is the first one I even recognized since he spent our 6th with OW at a B&B.

I guess you celebrate only as much as you and FWS feel like celebrating.

LAT,

Are you posting in GQII?
Do you respond to peoples posts back?
What are your stats? Age, Kidst etc?
Are you involved with others threads?

These boards seem transient so sometimes people post then disappear.

Sometimes these boards move very quickly where your post moves to page 2 in a half an hour. You can bump your post by just entering in Bump and posting it.

Then your last two posts, this and the anniversary thread there isn't much to post back to.

You ask should I celebrate my anniversary. Only you can tell us. Why wouldn't you besides the A. Not to down play the A of course.

If you have an issue bring it up. Give more details, respond when responded to. That will help keep your post going.

If I read a thread with a few responses and the poster hasn't responded back and the advice is close to what I would give, I move on.

It's not that your posts are not bizarre or "juicy" enough, its just that you don't need any help, whereas, many of the posters here do need help. Desperately. I have no opinion about your anniversary.

LAT, I'm a little puzzled. Your profile shows that you registered on 27th August 2007, ie a month ago. Have you been posting under a different name for 14.5 months?

Dude,

You received three (3) pages of replies on your other post where you are whining about the same thing!!

Hey, smiley face means I am kind of kidding about the whining.

And, I also am curious about the time line here, whassupwidat?
