I highly recommend the book EAT, PRAY, LOVE by Elizabeth Gilbert to you. It's a woman's memoir regarding her year long SPIRITUAL JOURNEY. I've been listening to the BOOK ON CDs in my car and I think of you when I listen. She reminds me of how I think of you...I LOVE IT...

Thank you, Mimi.

You know this is really serendipitous, because I was just thinking I should stop at the library before I take the five hour drive to my husbands place this weekend and get something to listen to in the car.

I did try to find some of the soul music you suggested but had no luck (small town, no music stores) earlier this summer. And I'm just not having any luck finding anything that blows me away, musically, lately.

You know, I wasn't going to get anymore spiritual books, but I just got back from Savannah, and I absolutely fell in love with their folklore, black and white. It is the most beautiful, charming place I have ever been. The people are so colorful...all cultures and of all colors, and I just fell in love with all of it.

Anyway, ghost folklore is big down there so I have been reading all the different stories and interviews since, and I swear I am about scaring myself to death with them. So something spiritual might be good for me right now. LOL

I did pick up one self help book at the library last weekend and it is "Mars and Venus in the Bedroom", because as you know I just got married. Well I thought it would be good for GB to read it to, and he just absolutely refuses. Says he has no problems in that dept and just doesn't need to read anything about it. Well, I have no complaints, but thought married people could have fun reading stuff like that. Guess not.

Anyway, I will pick it up and listen to it. Hopefully our libarry has it.

Are you from the south, Mimi? Let's talk Savannah sometime. I think you would love it.

I'm from the SOUTH...YES...

I LOVE CHARLESTON, SC...I feel so AT HOME there..so AT PEACE..must have lived THERE in ANOTHER LIFE or somethin...

I've never really visited SAVANNAH..in my plans... but I've heard folks say that you are either a SAVANNAH or a CHARLESTON person..folks that LOVE one city don't necessarily love the other although they are sooo similar...

EAT, PRAY, LOVE is LIZ telling HER STORY...so inpsirational and interesting....she TRAVELS to ITALY, INDIA and BALI to work on those ASPECTS of herself..EAT for HER is defined as SEEKING PLEASURE...GREAT STUFF...

I made it happen..a joyful life..filled with peace, contentment, happiness and fabulocity.

Yep, that's how I felt in Savannah. Heck, I felt like a different person.

Thanks again, Mim. I'll definitely look for it this week.
