Resilient

No, I married my high school sweetheart and we simply grew up and apart. I had a girlfriend and lived with her for four years. I left because she got addicted to codiene and became abusive towards my children. I met my present wife at a party.

Listen, I have read everything on this site, read dozens of books , talked to three consellors (2 with her) and now talked to her directly. What I hear is the only option is to the big "D". This will likely be the hardest thing to do- is to leave the perfect person(almost).

Hi Dis,

I know this is hard, but does your wife know just how serious a problem this is for you? I ask because I was much like she is and knew my FWH was not "satisfied" with the quantity or quality of our SF. I simply didn't know how bad it was affecting him.

He tried to talk to me and I kinda just flat out refused to discuss it with him. I would like to believe, though that if he had come to me and told me that he was dabbling in infidelity by exploring internet dating sites and collecting phone numbers from women while on business trips that I would have been open to MC or something rather than have both our lives nearly destroyed by his messy, 8 month PA with a psycho nut job.

I think you owe it to her to tell her that this is a deal breaker for you. I do know though, that I would have preferred that my FWH had left me and divorced me rather than just cheating on me.

At least it would have been the honorable and moral action under the circumstances.

I hope your wife listens and hears what you are saying to her. Sounds to me like she has a lot to lose.
