MEDC and others, You have read and replied to my 80/20 thread weeks ago. Where do i proceed from here?
All thses years and I am still so lost.
Did I make a major mistake in trying too hard to reconsile this M, I am not a young man!!
I don't have some kind of idylic life before me.
I am tired up sucking up the untold truth in front of me, but i have nothing left.
It seems to be my fate.
all Blessings, Jerry

Jerry, we make our own fate. The things you have been asked to accept would be too much for me my friend. I think there is a lot of room for improvement if you set up boundaries that are appropriate for you. If you don't do this... a year from now, you may still be dealing with the same issues. I am sure your wife has many wonderful qualities...among these might be the ability to learn. But if she has an unwillingness to accept the harm that she has caused...well, she can't change what she doesn't recognize. It might take a pretty clear statement on your part that things need to change. Can you link to your old thread here?
I am sorry you are going through this pain Jerry. 5 years out and still dealing with some of the things that a truly recovered marriage should have as a "cost of admission" has to be wearing you down.
The best advice I can give you Jerry is to communicate with her...and do not settle for less than you deserve.
MEDC

Can you link to your old thread here? Well you kmow what MEDC, the thread is so old, that it is burried somewhere in the archived posts. Actually, that says a lot about about me and my insecurity. This should be long overwith! I guess my W doesn't understand this and this is how it should be, "until death do us part"! all blessings, jerry
