Work and financial stresses have ground me down enough that I'm considering going back on AD's. My doctor gave me a 30-day trial of Cymbalta yesterday.
Anyone have experience with this med specifically? I've been on prozac, wellbutrin, lexapro, and doxepin hcl in the past.

Doh! No, last week was crazy for me, and I was in Raleigh last weekend. I posted a response though.

Hello, I had been on several meds and find that I like this one the best...I have had no side effects and truely believe in it!
I hope that you like it as much as I do! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I've been on it for nearly a year. The only thing I've noticed is that, if I miss a day or two, I can really tell. I feel sort of spacey or loopy or something. But, as long as I remember to take it daily, I really like it.

The stuff is *really* making me jittery. I feel like I chugged a pot of coffee - stomach butterflies and jaw tension. This is only my third day on the stuff; does the edge slack off some?

I took Cymbalta for a while...I wasn't "edgy" or "jittery", so I can't answer that for you...The only side effects I ever had from it were sexual-I could not deal with that-HATED IT (So did Mr. W-LOL)...I switched to Wellbutrin because they were so bothersome in fact...
Antidepressants are so different for everybody of course...Usually the side effects go away with time...though not the sexual ones...<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
I hope that you begin to feel better soon! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

When my W went off Lexapro the sexual side effects went away. It was fantastic! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Of course, she's due with our 2nd on the 27th, so the sexual side effects won't be noticed for a while anyway...
