Neak,
I have read bits and pieces of your story, but still there are gaps I have not been able to find the posts for. Your story is inspiring and makes for fascinating reading. I have been able to follow from close to the beginning of your troubles, up until a short false recovery, then I have read more recent posts, after the recovery. What I can't seem to find no matter how I set the search feature, is the time right after false recovery, up until what transpired that would be the time of true recovery.
Did you have a different username, was there a data base crash, or am I just haveing a DUH moment??
Can you please give me a direct link? Thanks so much!

Have you already read the fog thread? That is a pretty comprehensive overview.

If you are looking for original posts, too, look for a thread, likely from June of 05, titled something like "Mating Habits of Jellyfish" or similar. (At the time, I was worried he would read it, so as soon as I had my advice, I changed the title and bumped it way down.)

I think there may have been one other separate thread during that time, before Jellyfish, but don't remember what it was. But again, the fog thread covers all that, plus all that happened before MB.

Rest assured, it is not your fault that you couldn't fine anything there, as I did make some effort to conceal it. Hope that helps, and even now it is cheering and inspiring that what heppened is still helpful to others. God bless, Neak

I found it, and it was hidden pretty good.

Migration Habits of Jellyfish

Migration, not mating. *smacks head*

Also, I was able to confirm through phone records that the call I found, though not the only one, was very early into the NC break. I am so grateful to God for bringing that knowledge to my attention early on, and just the other day AJ said much the same thing.

The next Saturday night after I found the phone call, is when I was able to verify that either she had a new number, or he had a new phone. (Turned out to be the new phone.)

His descent to evil took place very quickly once it started, and the WS attitude leaked out into everything. Once you have watched it, knowing what it is, it is easy enough to spot that you can have confidence that they would never be able to hide another A from you, not for very long.

I have your stuff in my favorites. Here's one, but apparently not the first, since they're just taking off where something else left off. I'll go back and check some more. I could've told you the jellyfish were migrating!

I sat up half the night reading most of your story! Very interesting reading. I would have finished it all, but a gal has to sleep a little! Can't wait to read the rest. It is sad of course, because of the subject matter, but what shines through is your dependence on God, your love for family, and of course your warped sense of humor!

Here is the actual, original question that brought her to MB, shortly after she found out.

OK, I've got it figured out now. (1) So New (2) Cake Eating (3) Firm Hand (4) Migrating Jellyfish (5) A Few Things. And there you have the whole story, and the rest of it, too, without involving Paul Harvey even once! (For which he is eternally grateful, I'm sure.)

ROTFLMAO,
Who's Paul Harvey? Wasn't he a puppateer or ventilogist, or something like that?

Neak, you are truly blessed with a mother like this.

You're kidding about Paul Harvey, right? Or am I the only one old enough to know who he is!

Also, once you read through the whole thing (especially if you read this one--Seducing a Reluctant Husband), you'll have a better idea on why she mistook "migrating" for "mating"...

Paul Harvey is like 190 years old, and still doing a syndicated news synopsis 5 days a week, usually around noonish. "Stand by for neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeews!" Then he also does another bit, usually heard in the afternoon, called "The Rest of the Story", where he takes some famous tale, and tells what happened behind it.

If you're not going to be 60 before January, you're not older than I am. So there. If you are, you have my sympathy!

You must be very proud of your D at this point, If it were my son, I would be!!

Good for both of you!!!

I am proud of her (and her squabblings, also)...but Neak, in particular, has weathered marital difficulties with a grace and determination that I never managed to muster at her age, and for a good while afterwards, either. My strange marital saga is relayed on the feminine hygiene aisle; I'm certainly not telling The Sad Saga of OtherSusan the Stupid again, but suffice it to say that my marriage would never have survived what hers did. I guarantee it. She has my complete admiration and respect, even when I occasionally disagree with her.

P.S. The comedian who ran for president was the late (but not necessarily tardy) Pat Paulsen. Paul Harvey finishes his news broadcasts with "G'Day!"
