I was curious about the requirements for a RO in Ohio if my attorney has already informed the OW not to contact us but the attorney for data exchange concerning OC, medical bill expenses, etc. We keep getting letters in the mail. Do you know what I can do about this? As the BS?
Thanks for any info.

I'm a Michigan Attorney specializing in Tax Law.
I don't even know the Michigan requirements for a RO off hand.
Try googling it.
You can likely get one anytime you want for just about any reason. They'll give you a temporary one and then there may be a fight with OW for a permanent one if she shows up in court.
Typically...this just escalates the situation and makes it worse. Considering there is an OC involved an escalation is likely NOT what you want unless you actually feel threatened for your safety. Plus...a RO is just a piece of paper..then she violates it and you've got to escalate things even more and interact with her and the court even more. Avoid court...if you can. It rarely ever makes you feel you got justice...it's just expensive short-term half vindication.
Letters???
I know OW can be annoying but letters you don't even have to read yourself should be just avoided. Have somebody else read them and tell you ONLY pertinent information you need to know. Plan B OW.
An escalation of the situation is likely what she wants.

p.s. - I don't know your whole story. I suppose at some point the harassment MAY become unbearable and a restraining order due, however, absent threats just treating her as though she hardly exists and not reacting to her attempts to get under your skin SHOULD stop her eventually. Keep a calendar and detail all her shinanigans that way you'll be able to see if your attempts to ignore her are making progress.

Fled...
Have you had much interaction with either Dealan-de (Kimmy) or FaithfulFollower on the boards? Both of them are wonderful ladies who have OC situations in their lives...Lots of wisdom there...I would recommend a call out to them and see what they would recommend...It's likely that one or both of them have experienced something similar to what you are experiencing...I'm really sorry that you are having to deal with that...

Thank you,
Yes I have. The issue is that we are not ready to share this information with our youngest COM. He wants to get the mail. I think he is smart enough to identify her mailings. The only stuff in the mail is info that needs to go through our attorney in the first place.
She apparently, wants to mail everything to me and my home. Your H's advice about not escalating things is absolutely right, I understand that. I would just like to see a tornado touch down in one specific spot and remove the thorn from my side. Oh well, not going to happen.
Thanks again,
Fled
