I usally post in the recovery section but I am thinking maybe we are not in recovery yet. When in plan A is it ok to ask questions about the affair? My husband get upset when I bring up the subject and I am just trying to heal my heart It has been about 8 months sience he has came home and yes we have our good days but I still feel so hurt by all this mostly because he seems to just be here going thru thr motions. He almost acts like this is a jail sentence. I feel like If I said you can leave if you want because I will be ok I think he would!

Hi,

From what I've read... speech that is not mutually agreeable and withdraws "units" from the love bank are not part of recovery and can do more harm than good. Yet, there must also be honesty and accountability right now to make certain the WS does not re-ignite the affair.

How do you know the affair is over?

I think that's the main thing. The "starting point".

So, speaking about the past is one thing. However, making certain the affair is over, accountability is in place, and having a real opportunity to recover - discussion about that should be part of the recovery process, I believe.

How are things going?
