Why are you dating her at all?

Go back and read your last post again and again.

If someone had authored that -- what would you advise them to do?

"Why are you dating her at all?"

I guess because I love her, my children love her and we love her kids that I helped raise for nearly 5 years. I have wanted her to want/love me for so long I guess I was just hoping this time around it would be true. I hear the words "I love you", but I just dont see it in her actions. I would have given my life for her, and she walked out when I needed her the very most in life. I guess I just keep hoping that she loves me and I'm missing something or reading things wrong. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Ranman,

Don't let her use you! If she wants to continue with any kind of relationship with you I would tell her this is what I need from you!
If it were counseling together to work on past issues in order to move forward, Relationship classes to learn how to effectively communicate with each other, What ever it is that helps to build a better foundation for you both.

Just don’t move forward with her until you are sure she is truly invested in you and your relationship.

I wish you all the best

Sounds highly dysfunctional to me. I think it's time to cut the cord for good.

Love it blind, and sometimes, even if you see the truth for what it is, you just don't care.

Most people here are saying you should leave her. And with good reason. The question is, do you have the fortitude to do so.
