Wife just IM'd me if she can contact my lawyer... she wants to be helpful in getting me back home and out of trouble.

I can't reply obviously, but should I bother my lawyer with this info? Can she talk with him?

would your lawyer be allowed to talk to me? if i wanted to ask for advice on what to say...or would that not be allowed? the Public Defender's office wanted to talk to me.

i dont know if i need to ask another lawyer myself to make sure i answer questions that are helpful but not answer questions that are not helpful...

yes she can...and he can talk to her if you give him permission to do so. BUT, I don't know that he can or should answer those questions.

Here is what your lawyer should tell her.

I'd turn the emails over to your attorney and let him/her deal with the legalities involved. That's why you hired a lawyer, right?
