Today at work, I had to sit through a meeting with someone who was lying through her teeth right across the table at me.
Imagine her surprise when I looked at her and said,
"I do not believe what you are saying. Do not think for one minute that I will believe that. There are too many markers for me to believe you."
She blushed, looked away, and stopped trying to dish the crap.
I don't get it - and this woman is supposed to UNDERSTAND what I do for a living.
I think maybe I need to EXPLAIN IT TO HER AGAIN. For cripe's sake
I am employed by this woman, and she is trying to lie to me.

It isn't the spelling so much as the content. I smell a teenager - or more than one.
The story is quite like an old movie, and also follows a recent news story.
Plus, quite implausible. Simply put, when it comes to lies, just too outlandish to be "rill".
And if it is "rill", why not just email the state police. I mean, come on, if you are in a polygamist society, and want out, this is the 21st century. This person is on the internet. Just put in your location, scream for help, and let the "net" do the rest.

If her step-father raped her and then her husband came along when she was 13, married her at 15, and has kept her isolated from having any family/friends for the past 23 years, I can see that she would likely still be at the emotional maturity level of a young teen.
I don't know if she's a part of a polygamist marriage, though, even though she registered at a polygamy site. Maybe her husband is wanting to bring another little girl home. (We need a vomit emoticon)

She doesn't want help, she wants people to feel sorry for her and it's working. My guess is that she's a teenager. She said in her last post that she can't come back here til tomorrow at noon. It must be a half-day at her school (or should I say 'skool'). LOL!
