My Heart Cries Out<P> What can it mean? Does it matter to Him<BR> That the nights are long, that the days are dim?<P> Is He truly touched by the grief I bear,<BR> That saddens my heart and whitens my hair?<P> And yet I so want Him to care for me,<BR> As I live in this world where sorrows be.<P> When the light dies down on the path I take;<BR> When strength is feeble, when friends forsake;<BR> When love and music that once did bless<BR> Have left me to silence and loneliness;<BR> When my life-song changes to sobbing prayers;<BR> Then my heart cries out for a God that cares.

Robilar,<P>Beautiful poem, wracked with pain. I feel it in your words and understand it all to well. <P>There is a forum for poems. I have posted there a few times myself. You may want to post this one there too.
