I've been reading here for a few weeks and have decided I need to find out what's going on with my H. He is being secretive and I've found that he sent an email to someone about a legal matter we're dealing with and I don't know who that person is.
Is there a way to search for who the owner of an email address is?
He has his own laptop and I don't have access to it to put a key logger on there. He makes almost all his phone calls on his cell phone that I don't have access to.
Any suggestions on how I can find out info without having access to these things?
Thanks for your help.

Is there no way you can get on his computer?

I've never really tried. I don't get much time at home without him being here. When he travels for work he takes it with him. He does go get coffee from the local coffee shop sometimes, but he's usually only gone for about 15 minutes then.
He works from home, so if I came home early from work he'd be here.

Go over to Charlottes thread and ask her how she installed webwatcher on her H's computer. I can think of several ways we can do this, but I think she might have the best option.

Do you have "Visitor" access to his laptop?
And is he a sound sleeper?

I don't know if I can get on his laptop or not. I will try when he goes out next.
He hasn't been sleeping well for a while now, so not so much a sound sleeper. He's under alot of stress.
I do have access to one of his email accounts. That's how I found that he sent an email to someone I don't know. There was no message for me to tell anything about what he was doing, though. Only that he forwarded info to an email address I don't know. It's not a business type address, either. Clearly a personal address.
I may get a voice activated recorder that I can leave in the house during the day. The problem there is that he walks all over when he's on the phone and sometimes goes outside. He never sits still when he's on the phone.

If you get the one from Radio Shack you can tie it into the line he uses and it will capture all of the convo. You just need a secure place to hide it.

He almost never talks on our home line - always his cell phone. I can at least get what he says when he's in the office part of the house.

Oh yes, the dreaded cell phone...
So you'd almost need to have a recorder in every room. Unless there is some other technology available for cell phone convo capture...

He never sits still when he's on the phone. Could that be because you are in the house? I wonder if he does that when you are gone?

He talks to me on his cell phone when I'm at work and he's always pacing then, too. When he talks to his mom when I'm home he's pacing. He does this all the time and has since I've known him. It's not unusual, but makes it difficult to record what he says on the phone!
His cell phone bill is paperless, so I can't get that to look at.
