How much do you know about P.O.S.T certs and transfering to another state? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I believe some states are reciprocal with their training while others are not. I would venture a guess that even absent a reciprocal agreement that some credit is afforded to knowledge "earned."

ahhh....I am still pondering what I want to do.....but this has also been an open option and damnit ever since I gave some info to the military just to take a small practice asvab...the damn army won't leave me alone and I have told them I am not interested...*sigh*

I have my level II post certs....but have yet to sign on with a department as a reserve....level 1 for my class doesn't start until april. But I have been considering moving...possibly up north....the city is getting a bit crazy.

are you in Los Angeles? If so, I would agree that moving would be your best bet!
Things work differently here ...I was hired and then went through the police academy. I guess you pay for getting certed out there and then catch on to a department?

yes...unless you lucky enough to have a dept pick you up...but most people pay there own way...no not in los angeles...I'm in salinas....and hating it.....want to get out.....our gangs are getting really bad and really bold.
