I happened to see this mentioned on MSNBC. The young female newsreader could not have been more mocking when she read the story. Her attitude was really pretty sickening and I wish I knew who she was so I could send an e-mail. Mulan
Me, BW WH cheated in corporate workplace for many years. He moved out and filed in summer 2008.

Oh really, GEEZ! I read it online, so the tone was not cynical. It was just pretty factual. When families split, they take on two households, more water used (dishwashers and showers); more electricity for air conditioning, lights, heat; more natural gas, etc and so on.

Hmm. As part of his ILYBNILWY speech at the beginning of this whole nightmare for me, STBX insisted that divorcing would be cheaper for both of us since I could move closer to work (blah, blah, blah). I actually pointed out to him that we would be financing 2 households instead of one and even suggested this was ineffient and anti-environmental (yep, I was grasping for straws). Of course it really wasn't since his whole plan was to move in with OW immediately anyway but I didn't know about her yet.

normally i am very envoronmentally friendly... my son and i recycle, the light bill was $70 last month, we conserve gas, etc...
but when i turn all my Christmas lights on, the lights in the neighborhood dim temporarily from the power surge

Okay SL,
Now ya gotta do the rant that Clark went into when he got his "bonus" in the "Jelly of the Month Club."
So hilarious!

I notice the report didn't even consider the amount of paper it takes to get a divorce... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
All those trees in the rain forest keep disappearing in record numbers. And much of that paper never gets recycled.

I just love it when Eddie says "Clark, I can't swim" and Clark's reply..."I know Eddie."

The moment Clark discovers Eddie has shown up for the festivities is classic.

OH, yeah, when he's going down the line, thanking everyone for being there to witness his spectacle of lights. Priceless.
Outside of the original Lampoon's "Vacation", I would have to say this is my favorite. The scene where Clark is talking to the sales lady is ridiculous.

Another great scene is when they are running from squirrel and they run upstairs and there's the squirrel on Clark's back. Even though a prop squirrel stands in for the real one at that point it is still funny as heck!
Really catches the funny bone!!
