Wow, I was just blown away by watching Drew Peterson on television. He has been married four times, cheated on all four wives, one is dead, and the latest missing.

His problem? He is afraid he won't be able to get a date.

Oh man, he gives me the chills so bad.

Makes you wish there was a "serial cheater" registry like the "sexual offender" registry. Not that going back to the puritanical scarlet As would be a good idea, but you see something like this and you wonder...

Is that website that used to be around still around? The one where people could go give a report on their XBF/XGF or XW/XH?

Or did it get shut down because of too many lawsuits?

He started dating the last three wives while he was married.

But complaining that all of this has made his fellow officers turn away from him, and besides, it will make it harder to get a DATE was what shocked me. Apparently he knows that his wife is not coming back.

This is just so tragic. I can't believe he wasn't stopped at W#3.

I don't want to start any arguments, but wouldn't this have been an example of a BS who should have left the marital home (with any children, of course)? Or did I miss where it was agreed that in the case of abuse, the BS should get to safety?

I would just hate to think that we would give advice that would endanger anyone.

We always advise women being abused to leave the home with their children.

There were 20 police reports to his home, but mostly it was the wives hitting him or each other. I just don't see the attraction.

Which BTW I agree with. I suggested missalot specifically get advice on moving back in.

I just wanted to make sure that caveat was understood - safety first. You can't Plan A or stand up for your rights to material possessions if you are dead. But I didn't want to argue.

hey, if OJ can get a girlfriend I am never surprised by the gullability of some women.

And then a shrink came on and explained that this man's behavior is so repugnant to normal people, but in his mind, Mr. Peterson thinks he is a great guy. He doesn't see any problem with cheating on all his wives. And so what if one wife died under suspicious circumstances and the mistress he married is missing? His fellow cops are treating him badly.

And now he can't get a date.

It's all about HIM.

He shouldn't worry. There are way too many stupid women out there who think he won't be like that with them. Some woman with poo for brains will "understand" him.

So yes, there are women out there gullible enough to still date him. He met this latest wife when she was only 17. She had a VERY sad and troubled childhood. She lost a young sibling to a fire and another to SIDS. Then her mother walked out on them. IMO, she was a victim of this man's sick "charms". Now her children have no mother.

Sickening to say the least... I just pray he's done getting away with this crap and he gets nailed with this one.

The Drew and Stacy Peterson saga has been the lead story on Chicago local news for weeks now. It has been front page news in Chicago as well as closer to where he lives in the Joliet area, which is where I work.

Stacy Peterson has replaced Lisa Stebic as the top story. She is also still missing and has been for a couple of months longer, but nothing new has come up in her case for a while and since Drew was a Bolingbrook cop at the time his wife went missing, has been married four times and his third wife was found dead of drowning in the bathtub just before the divorce decree was final, this newer story is much more interesting to the media. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

FWIW, Stacy Peterson's mother walked away from her family and home 9 years ago, and though is thought to still be alive, has had no contact with anyone in the family since then.

Stacy reportedly had a "nasty" email and text message relationship with a 35 year old guy from Shorewood for a while, though he claims that when he found out she was married, he cut it off...There were some indications she had contacted him a couple of weeks before her disappearance.

I recently read about Scott and Lacey Peterson.
Unfortunately the author showed a lot of sympathy for Scott Peterson which sickened me. He ven went so far as to end with a comment that people who wanted Scott Peterson to get the death penalty for killing his wife and baby boy were just keeping the abusive cycle for Scott's family history going...

The book creeped me out.

MM - that does sound creepy! How can you say a man who killed his wife and unborn child doesn't deserve the death penalty? Like Stacy's mom said, if you didn't want to be married to her you could've just divorced her!
