JL,
I will miss your calm words of wisdom. I have learned a lot from your postings here and have great respect for how you've been a help to so many over the years.

I am sadden by your decision to leave this board because you were such a help to me when I was in crisis. You calm, logical voice of reason will be missed by all who come to this board.
Thank you for all you did for me and good luck to you!

Selfishly, I will miss the lift it gave me to see that you'd posted to someone. I knew the post would be thoughtful, wise, and most of all...kind. I knew I would learn something along with the person you'd posted to.
The board will be a poorer place without you, but you leave a legacy of great value.
Live well and prosper.

I always thought you should be a therapist instead of a physicist. Nah, believer. Mars needs JL more than we do! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> JL: I've lost your email address. Can you email me? I was hoping 2 see you this week in Sam Frank's Disco, but I was just there last week on a review panel (sick as a dog the whole time, 2), so I opted out this year. I will see you again, -ol' 2long

JL, You were the first person i read after coming to this site . I havent commented much, but all i can say is I viewed you as a pastor of the marriage builders church of the hurting. Your loving and thought provoking style has made me a better father and husband. i will miss you.
Thank you God bless you

JL--
I'm not too active these days, but wanted to pop in and say so long. When I started posting in 2000, you and K did sooo much to help me figure things out. And, I still have wise JL-isms tucked into my brain that pop up sometimes. So, thank you for all you did for me and my marriage.
I'm still at the same email address, if you ever want to drop a line. Meanwhile, happy trails to you!

JL....even if you don't post anything, if you've lurked and read these sentiments, could you possibly have Justuss let us know you've seen these? Thanks.
Kathi,
So glad you've posted to JL. Is your success story anywhere? I've started a thread for them and would love to have you link it (or repost it) sometime to encourage newbies and rookies to keep going when days seem so dark and hopeless.
Again, thanks for your post. We need more recovered posters because there are so many newly betrayed spouses seeking refuge here. Please consider sharing a little of what you've learned from JL and others, even if it only means sharing your story.
Thanks, Ace

JL,
I was looking at my D-Day thread for the first time in years and saw how you posted to it. I searched your username only to find this good bye thread... too late to say thank you for just being there for knuckleheads like me

Later dude.
Although you never had a dog in this fight, I must commend you for the patient manner in which you were able to reach many many folks.
So although your time here may have run its course, your influence will carry on for many years to come.
