Can anyone tell me what the average length of time for affairs are? AND, how do you deal with the WS's fog? I found out about the affair in Oct via text messages. He tells me it's over but I know it's not. This is so hard to deal with....when will it get better?

I think that I've read that most A die a natural death within 2 years. Don't let that number terrify you! There are many things you can do to bring about the death of an A and give yourself a chance to recover your M.

Would you mind sharing some more details about your situation? How long have you been married? Condition of the M before the A started? Kids/ages? Any info you have regarding the OW (other woman) and the A itself (how long has it been going on, physical or emotional or both). Details about your H's behavior and statements to you.

Sorry you find yourself here momofone. There is hope and the people here will help you get your act together and start doing things that will help your situation. In the meantime read on this site about emotional needs and the basics of Plan A.
