I don know what is wrong with me. I have a wonderful husband, and he tries to make me happy, but since my last baby was born a year ago I just dont feel loved anymore.
Here is my story, maybe somebody can help me.

I had a girl when I was 19 year old, but the dad desserted us before I was 3 months pregnant. I raised her for a year on my own, when I fel in love with my soulmate. I wass happier than i have ever been.and apparently so was he. He asked me to marry him, and we got married shortly after. I moved away from all my friends and family, as he lived 1000 km away.
Two months after we got married I fell pregnant again.
Another girl. She is so cute and amazing, but since she was born, I just have not felt loved anymore. It has been a year now. My husband gives me hugs, we still make love at least 6 times a week, and it is still great, he gives his all for me, but I just cant help feeling lonely, sad and unloved inside.

We are currently staying in the same house as his parents, my mother fels like this has a lot to do with how I feel, as I cannot be the "woman" of the house, as my mother in law always feels she needs to give advice where it feels to me like she tries to rule my life and interfere all the time. I have told my husband I do not feel loved anymore, he has tried filling my needs,as he says that he is completely happy and still in love with me. But to tell the truth I am not so sure I am stil in love with him.

Anybody have any advice? Or do I just need to suck it in? Will it ever go away? What do I need to do? I'll do anything. We have only been married 2 years, I do not want to quit yet. [color:"black"] [/color] <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Have you read "Fall in Love, Stay in Love"? Are you and your husband spending 15 hours a week giving each other undivided attention? (That means no kids during that time)

I wish. It is just not possible, as the kids are still small, and we have only his mom and dad close for suport system. And they rarely agree tobabysit.

If you recon that we should wait until they go to sleep, We are both utterly exhausted when they go to bed, as we have demanding jobs, work 9 hours a day, come home, cook, clean the house, kids, give them attention, and put them to bed. What do you suggest we do?

We have no close friends where we live, to ask to help with babysitting. The only time we do give each other undivided attention is in bed after the kids are sleeping, but it isnt even close to 7 hours.

Thanks though

Are you sure it's love you are not feeling or could it be your situation? Exhaustion, work, never ending chores, small children, living with inlaws?

I remember when my girls were young there seemed to be no 'us' time. In addition to working, having small children, running a household you NEED 'US' time without any distractions. Could you ask a coworker for a reference to a babysitter?

Being in the same house and In laws can be emotionally draining and build resentment. Is there a chance your family could move?

What would make you feel loved?

Tamz - It sounds as though you are both very young, barely out of your "childhood" yourselves. So all I'm going to say right now is that you might want to consider the following biblical advice to be "The most important advice" to a married couple that wants to remain in love and build a new "Family Unit."

LEAVE and CLEAVE. "For this reason a man will LEAVE his father and his mother and cleave to his wife."

"Mommy and Daddy" need to have the "apron strings" cut, just like the umbilical cord was cut when a new life was born. A "new life" WAS born when you were married. It's called a "One Flesh" marriage.

God bless.

Tamz......first and foremost, you need to see your OB. It sounds like you could be suffering from Post-part. depression and that your hormones never readjusted after your last baby. This is a biological problem that can be easily fixed, but can have lasting problems if ignored. While I am not in anyway diminishing other underlining problems you are having, this is the first thought that came to my mind when reading your post. Take it from me, I suffered PPD and it is not fun, and it can go on for years if left untreated. If in fact, you and your Dr. come to the conclusion you are suffering from this, you can get treatment and will be more of mind to change the rest of your problem areas.....I will be praying for you.....n2f
