My question to both of you is why bother to even post if you didn't want any responses?

Uhm, because I was making a statement...a FYI for-those-who-are-interested-in-knowing kind of statement. It seemed there wasn't really anything to respond to...I was just sharing.

Unfortunately, just as suspected, someone's eventually gotta find something to be offended by. That's the reason I asked for no responses.

When I saw your message not to post I assumed it was for your stalker not for everyone else.

I'm sorry you misunderstood, but I can see how that might happen.

I'm done wasting my time on your threads.

I didn't really want or ask you or anyone else to "waste your time" on this thread. In fact, I requested just the opposite.

IMO, saying that someone was wayward at one time isn't an impeachment. How can it be when several participants have FWW or FWH in their sigfile?

For instance, saying SoandSo was a wayward husband, so he might be able to help you understand what your wayward husband is thinking." That is not impeaching.

To impeach is "to bring an accusation against". To impeach would be more along the lines of saying something like, 'In regards to XX, well let's just say you don't know all that you think you do. You should ask her/him about that."

That's actually a good one, IMO, because not only is an accusation made, it's left to the imagination what horror might have been committed.

So, IMO, just pointing out that someone was wayward at one time, or that the former wayward person might have some insight into what a BS's wayward spouse might be thinking, doesn't sound like impeachment to me. YMMV.

graplin...

That post was to SF...I'm certain that she understands it-it was regarding two specific "incidents"...If you'd like to discuss something with me, either start a new thread or send me an email...

Commenting on my opinion of your use of the word impeach isn't exactly thread starting material nor does it rise to the level of email worthy. From my observation, people identity themselves all the time as formerly wayward on the forums - often in their sigfile as do you. So why would the use of the word wayward be taken as some sort of offense?

Was there something you had a problem with what I wrote that you feel should be discussed via email? If so, let me know.

When it comes to clues, I have one or two.
I used one of them on the meaning of the word "impeach."
That means I have one left.

Whatevah to you, as well!

Getting back 2 the very subject, though...

Being "hard" on the FWS isn't the same thing as MB letting them down.

When I read this, I had hope. But then I read this....

Quote
There's a difference, often times, between what we - either BS or WS - may WANT 2 hear and what we may NEED 2 hear.

Then I realized...nope. He doesn't get it either.

Then I humbly submit that it is my opinion that you missed my point. I was being general, not singling out tst.

Quote
My original post had nothing to do with what my FWH wanted or needed to hear. He actually received a lot of support and encouragement here (except for the troll, oops, sorry, I think that's a politically incorrect word here ).

Why would you think that? Who's politics? I think it accurately describes the individual you are referring 2.

Quote
Everyone immediately saw in my FWH that he had gone through a radical defogging and was completely sincere and devastated at his choices this past year. The advice he received here was right on and he knew it.

I think I knew that 2, in spite of not following yours or his threads in the depth that many have.

Quote
MY POINT was that MB (forums) had let a FWS down in 2 ways:

1. By the mods allowing a poster that borderlines on stalking and has reincarnated himself over and over and over to be permitted to return after being removed for the umpteenth time.

From what I understand, said troll, and a few others like it that I've seen over the years, has a dynamic IP address and multiple email addresses that changes every time they "come back" with a new username. So, the evidence points not 2 the mods tolerating a troll stalking a couple here, but 2 the fact that the mods HAVE BEEN banning said troll. The troll just has the resources 2 re2rn.

Quote
2. By all the bickering that defocused from the purpose of being here. (Now, my FWH enjoys a good debate...but not at the expense of sidetracking threads).

It is tiring, isn't it. What can we do? Quoting the bible, verse before Mel's current sigline:

"The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with." Proverbs 17:14

Quote
He weighed the benefits with the costs, and decided that MB forums was not where he wanted to be right now.

Indeed, that is his choice 2 make.

Peace,
-ol' 2long
