Hi BA,
Thanks for coming clean with us. Practicing H&O is good.
I have been able to see some good in some of your posts, and I have not attacked you, so my hope is that you will hear what I am saying without thinking that I am attacking you (I am not).
Don't be surprised if this doesn't satisfy a lot of people. You say your research was over before you came here, but you did ultimately find this place due to your research interests, not due to any personal need. It is highly unethical to use people as research subjects without proper authorization and checks.
If you are here for your own learning and growth, star*fish has an excellent recommendation.
If you are here to learn in order to help others, then I recommend the principle "First, do no harm." That includes respecting the wishes of folks who are hurting.
If you are not here as someone currently in crisis, then you have an extra responsibility to be compassionate toward those who are in crisis. First, do no harm. For example, if your posts are harmful to someone, then don't post to them.
These are real people here, with real-life problems and very real and major decisions and choices to make. These are not just interesting anecdotes.
I for one want to thank you for posting an apology, and for adapting the wording to fit requests. I understand that the only way you could apologize was by posting.
Thank you for providing some answers - about your story, but also about Justuss's choices. Interesting.

BA-
It strikes me that your advice on this forum is somewhat similar to someone who went to the fire academy and got all the training to be a fire fighter-but has not ever actually ever fought a fire.
Hopefully you will never have to experience what brought us to this forum in the first place.

5) Unlike a true troll, I don’t like getting attention as evident by my constant avoidance of conflicts by using ignore. If a thread heats up, I would usually not reply.
This makes NO sense at all.
You don't like attention, yet you constantly draw attention to yourself with your antics.
You avoid conflict, yet you will register over and over again when you are banned.
Your actions are telling us one thing and your words tell another.
You want people to believe that your intentions are honorable when that is the furthest thing from the truth.
This just doesn't pass the smell test for me.
It's like "dustkitty" all over again.

BA, the emotion you stir in me is pity. For my part, I couldn't understand why people were getting so upset over someone so lacking in the most rudimentary social skills that they missed cue after cue after cue and continued to offend. To say that your interaction with others has been awkward is understating the case.
I am certainly not diagnosing you, as that would be absurd, but I would say that the way you behaved was like a case of cyber-Asperger's, if such a thing existed.
You really have very little to offer anyone here, IMO. If I had to make a guess, I would be willing to bet that you have not even been in serious relationship....and that you still live at home.
Right now, you're simply naive and judgemental, based on things you have read online. Being judgemental is not the same as being wise. Wisdom is gained through life experience, which you do not have. Wisdom is what makes people the best advisors.
My advice to you: turn off the computer and go out and live.

As you can see, I am not very fond of FWS unless they are truly remorseful and evidence indicating that they will never do it again. I believe that if someone has cheated, chance are when the opportunity is right, they will do it again with the exception of a small percentage. Maybe some of you can help me change that perception. Disagree. If that were true, this board would be a waste of bandwidth. You really have no clue BA. None at ALL. No experience with infidelity, no basis whatsoever for your incredibly bad advice to hurting people. We do not play games here BA. This isn't a research project. This is peoples lives YOU are screwing with. I second the post by Star*fish (must check & see if the moon is full tonight LOL) Go onto the EN's board and leave the people crushed by infidelity ALONE.

That number is a "Rejection Hotline" based in Cincinnati, OH.
The blurb: "Here is a list of hotline numbers to give out if you just can't get that annoying someone to stop asking you for your number."

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it might be a personal number, so I notified the moderators.

BA:
If I were one of your "research subjects", I would sue you.
Or, more likely, your parents.

I'm not a praying man, as many of you are aware.
but if I were, my prayer would go something like this:
"Justuss, please lock this goofy thread!"

I am enjoying getting a good freaking laugh over this TOTAL INSANITY!!!!" You people are too funny and I am GLAD no one is taking BA seriously...he/she/it is giving ME a good laugh these days...a FEW good laughs EVERYday, that is. So BA is good for something around here...we could all use a few good laughs, no?!?!?!
