It has been a long time since I have asked for help from the MB community. This time, the help I am asking for is not to save my marriage, but for help all of you can provide which will directly benefit a community service project my 6-year old son and I do each week.

My son and I volunteer two hours each week at an Abandoned Animal Rescue Center. One of our fellow volunteers entered a photo of her dog, Woody, in the Circuit City and Kodak Firedog photo contest and he has been selected as a finalist! Just by being a finalist, Woody has already earned $1000 for our Rescue Center. Now it is time to vote for the grand Prize winner. Circuit City and Kodak will an additional $1 per vote received for Woody to our Rescue Center , up to $100,000, and the winning dog's shelter gets an additional $50,000.

Please vote for Woody at www.firedog.com/kodak All you need to do is click on "view entries to vote," use next arrow to find Woody, and follow directions.

Please also forward this on to your family and friends - yes, that means everyone in your contact list (and ask all of them to forward this on to all of their contacts, too)!

Many Thanks,

Brit's Brat

Done! It wasn't a lie either, because that was an adorable picture!

Mel, someday, someone is going to give you a cute little kitten for a Christmas present, and you are not going to be able to not accept. I await that day! I bet if say, that cute little girl of the W's that you love so much were to give you a kitten....well, you wouldn't be able to refuse it.

Oh Auntie Mel, how is mittens doing?

Well sweetie, she is doing fine now that I have brushed her beautiful coat and had the neighbors kitty over for kitty play time.

Oh yes, I do await that day.

Awww! Woody is adorable. Good luck I hope you win!!! I voted for him!
My three dogs are rescue dogs - and I am so lucky to have them.

PS Mel - we have to occasionally shave our Tom cat - he weighs close to 30 lbs and if we dont groom him regularly his back gets matted - he cant reach it to do it himself!!

I voted BB!

Y'all know the reason that Mel loves our DD so much??? That kid is nothin' but a MINI MEL!!! It is TRUE that she scalped our 25lb cat...He skulked around here lookin' all pitiful and humiliated for months!!! Most recently she found a knot in his fur and instead of trying to comb it out, she rubbed and rubbed it til it became a MASSIVE KNOT that needed cutting out...These days she wants to trade him for a Golden Retriever...Oh and she LOVES Texas! Yep, the kid is surely MINI MEL!

Mrs. W

P.S. Fear Not...MITTENS ESCAPED!!! Click HERE for proof!

Hysterical, Mrs. W!

As far as your little girl...oy vey! Rest up, because I'm afraid you have your work cut out for you!

Mine has been kept well away from Mel, and her silly Texan ideas.

I thought you were going to tell me that the shelter needed big donations or else it was.....not going to be a happy situation. You want me to vote for a dog!?! That is something I can do. Can I vote from multiple e-mail addresses?
