You notify the OM wife and provide copies of the IMs and emails if needed to provide proof.

Your wife will be beyond p*ssed...but she'll get over it... Your marriage can survive anger, but it can't survive an ongoing affair.

You must have honesty in your relationship. If you were the cousin's wife wouldn't you want to be told? Your wife is trying to avoid the consequences of her actions. By not informing his spouse and allowing contact to continue then you are enabling her to continue to disrespect you and harm your marriage. I doubt if the roles were reversed that she would be so accepting. She is disrespecting you very badly. If you do not respect yourself then who will?

You need immediately to contact the OM's spouse. No consequences to her actions equals no motivation to change.
A marriage is between two people and not three. Allowing this contact to contact to continue is allowing this emotional affair to fester and allowing her to continue to disrespect and humiliate you.

I would let her make the choice.......the marriage minus the cousin or divorce and extreme exposure...OMW, parents, the kids etc. 9 kids and 30 years of marriage versus a strange relationship with a blood cousin that borders on emotional incest.

Expose to OM's wife.

Also, first cousin is a little too close in the blood line for comfort and should anything physical occur, there could be a degree of incest and illegality involved.

Although you will not end their blood relationship, you can at least throw some cold water on their inappropriate emotional relationship (also called an Emotional Affair) via exposure to the OM's wife.

Blow this A up with exposure. Her COUSIN?!! ******, if its a family thing, shouldn't the whole family KNOW?

I say that jokingly. . .kind of.

Give OMW a call, and have evidence as suggested.
