Kinda funny... I just bought some mineral makeup, without even reading this thread a week ago. It IS great!

I've kinda liked being all godessed up recently, even if H doesn't even take notice at all. Makes ME feel good! Plus, I will admit I sort of "let myself go" recently, before this. I was more apt to be found in a T-shirt and sneakers... without make up and my hair tossed in a ponytail than how I am today...

A nice new sweater I bought this weekend that sort of has a "plunging" neckline... nice tight jeans, nice (flat) brown shoes (I can't wear heels to work... I am on my feet all day, and I won't have feet left if I wear heels), make up, got a new haircut this weekend (VERY STYLISH!), and even have nice manicured nails (well, home manicure, but I think I did a good job!). Oh, and my legs are shaved!

Now if only H would notice and appreciate!

Kinda slow on the goddess board today... are we all too busy godess-ing up?

Well, I guess it is sort of slow in general here today....

Anyone have any other good goddess tips?? I was really late joining this thread and am catching up now!

I was quite the DOMESTIC goddess yesterday... scrubbed the whole house (I didn't look like a goddess doing it though... I was definitely in sweat pants!) and cooked a big meal!

So all I need to do is say I want to be a Goddess and poof! I'm a goddess...wow, that's great. Looks like I'm coming in at the tailend of things but I just wanted to join something fun!! Looking forward to chatting about 'fun' stuff with some of you.

Not just SAY it storm... you gotta BELIEVE IT... and yep, that's all you have to do... BELIEVE you are a goddess... and do whatever makes you FEEL like a goddess!!

So what makes you feel like a goddess, storm??

Much like a lot of the other women here... mine is prettying all up and walking with that extra strut in my stuff.... yanno?

PS-- I'm gonna bake some cookies later tonight for H with my surrogate kiddo (see my thread)... I'm gonna see if we can decorate some heartshaped ones and leave them around for H to find. Domestic goddess here I come!

no storm... you can't just come in and say you want to be a Goddess... there are a few requirements! 1 is you have to get rid of all the sweatshirts and sweatpants, 2 ah heck, just joking. welcome.

Well, storm, it's good that you've arrived. Aside from primping, I like to talk about what I've done for myself that day; sometimes painting my toenails counts as personal care and harnessing my Goddess.

I like to watch What Not To Wear for personal care; it gives me ideas on makeup and clothing. I like movies that make me LAUGH or are full of non-stop, heart pumping ACTION. Get's the heart racing.

I can't wait until this neck heals and I can get back to exercising (beyond just walking). I look forward to the warm summer months, playing in the pool and hanging out on the deck, planting springtime flowers, beautifying my home, among many other things. Right now, it's so dang cold, I don't wanna go outside at all. I like to look at the sky, from indoors...

POOF! I like that!
Yep, you are now a GODDESS!
Now you have to do stuff that makes YOU feel good about you.
I cleaned my house a bit yesterday. My H had just gone back to work out of town so it was messy. Now it looks better (although I haven't cleaned it up today-but I will before I go to bed) I didn't look like a GODDESS yesterday but I was cleaning and H was gone. The kids didn't seem to mind.

I have been trying real hard to do my hair everyday and put on makeup. I am not comfortable in a lot of glamour makeup but am using basic eye shadow, blush, mascara and even lip gloss

I think the best part is my attitude. I am a GODDESS! I told my H that. He liked it. He wants me to feel good about myself. Oh, today I even started to exercise again! My big fat belly is really starting to pizz me off! So off with it!
And firm legs and buns. Oh yeah, thats what I want.

So, Stormy33, what are you doing to GODDESS up today?

Oh, and R-I-M, you are not DQ'd for wearing sweats!
I wore mine too! (Don't tell Believer!)
It's gonna take a little work for me to get rid of all of them!
I did throw a pair away on Saturday. I had patched a big hole in the rear end and then they re-ripped all the way out again! Can you imagine that even then I didn't really want to throw them out? Maybe I can re-repair them was my stinking thinkin.

BUT

GODDESS-NESS took over and out they went!

You guys need to go to SWEAT PANTS ANONYMOUS to get over this ADDICTION!!

Your ASSIGNMENT is to develop your OWN.. CASUAL around the house... STYLE!!

It's whatever YOU CHOOSE for it to be..but NOT..SWEAT PANTS!!

Oh no. Thats bad.

My own around the house style....hmmmm...
I rarely wear sweats anymore. I really don't like the way I feel in them. Not glamorous at all!

But MIIIIII MIIIIII (***insert best whiny voice I have here*** )!! Sundays are my lounge and housework days. I DID go to the gym and sweated on that treadmill for 40 minutes... that counts as goddess-ifying, doesn't it?? And the I did housework and cooked for hubby and lounged. Yes, I wore them alllll day.... but, I didn't go anywhere all day either!

*Sigh*. So does this mean I also can't put on sweat pants when I get home from work (another one I'm guilty of...). I mean, I goddess up when I'm going out of the house... but when I'm in for the night-- or just doing housework all day-- aren't sweatpants OK then!?

Hmm... I need to invest in some GODDESS like pajamas then. I have more, um, skimpy ones, but I'd freeze wearing those around the house right now!! (I keep the thermostat a little low in the winter to save some $$ on gas bills)...

And all the rest of my pajamas are really not unlike my sweats... I actually own a pair of oversized Gumby pajama pants..... HAHA... I'm guessing those are NOT on the top 10 goddess wear list!

BUSTED!!!I'm with Mimi. I have oodles of pajamas, some matching, some just coordinating.

I think I have one pair of sweats, that are actually cute crop sweats, more like yoga pants. If it's RE-he-he-healy cold outside, I wear them to bed. otherwise, it's Pajamas, or a top and undies--cute ones.

Seriously, if I hear of you PATCHING UP a pair of Sweats again, I may have to reach thru the monitor and strangle you. Chuch em and get thee some PJ's, cute ones, even nice camasoles and undies.
