I have been a bad GODDESS lately and not checking in. It was bad of me...probably helped in losing perspective of what a GODDESS is. Ok, so now I will get back on track.
B is the ULTIMATE GODDESS. Only she can tell us to behave like a lady, sit like a lady, be dainty, then tell us how she owns a pair of F-Me heels....LMAO.
To me, being a GODDESS is all about confidence and self-esteem. Something that all BS have to deal with. And the best way to do it is to look good.
So, now I have a snow day, so I am going to go work on that dreaded basement some more. Ughhhh...except today, the kiddies will get to help...hahahah...what an evil mom I am.
Just kidding....
Oh yeah, before I forget....Mimi and B..I did NOT order a hoodie from my DS baseball team. Instead, I order a jersey which will look real hot with a pair of jeans or some shorts this summer....
oh, and I started back at the gym this weekend....gotta get toned for the summer..... a GODDESS always plans ahead, right???
ok..my check list for the day....
Jeans.....check..though they are my big ones (2 sizes too big...) since I am going down into the basement to clean.
Sweater.....check....
makeup.....check
hair....cute pony
all in all, I look ok...I will be woking in the basement...which is bad....hopefully we can get it all done today....

I really LIKE the way I look with makeup. That's GREAT, MVG!! I know how you feel..gotta have my CONCEALER..and MASCARA...and BLUSH..and OH WELL...on and on... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> had my mustache WAXED today along with my brows..it's not really THAT bad..but I HATE those hairs around my mouth..you young ladies, just wait for what you have in store...don't you just HATE to see women with HAIR on their face..I always want to tell them..."Did you know that you have hair growing out of your chin?"..I'm PRAYING for PATIENCE and TOLERANCE these days..anyone know a good book on that subject?

Good morning Goddesses! Happy Valentines day to all! Ok need Goddess advice for overnight hospital stay. They told me NO makeup, no jewlery, no nail polish> I said WHAT?! That's not allowed by my fellow Goddesses! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> And Mimi, I'm sorry to admit, sweat pants are going to be necessary with (hopefully) only slight tummy swelling. BUT they are not the typical sweat pants, actually they are very becoming. Nice drawstring closure, flared leg...I'm thinking I can dress it up to "our" standards with nice shirt and accessories.

I'll be thinking of you Monday! In terms of surgical recovery, I think you can take a pass on the sweat pants, at least until you can maneuver a bit better, THEN you can switch to better loungewear. How long are you going to be home?
Nothing much new to report. Last night, after work, my neck was really stiff, muscles achy, so I decided to hop in the hot tub. My DS came with and played while I soaked. He loves the water. I look forward to summer when he'll be in the pool every day. HEck, I just look forward to warmer weather!
What's on for the weekend, ladies?

I hear ya on the warm weather SL. Even tho it's been a relatively calm winter I'm definately ready for WARM!
Right now I'm planning on being out of work for 2 weeks, maybe 3, just depends on how things go.
Hey SL, little guys can give GREAT neck/shoulder massages with those tiny fingers. Not to hard and those little fingers get right into those muscles. Can you have a neck massage? Are you healed up enough for that?

Morning all. You all have been laughing about the pumps (trying to put this politely). Anyway, on V-Day, at work, one of our contractors secretaries wore bright red, sparkly, open toed 6 inch heels.
You should have seen the men falling all over her. She'd made cupcakes and had her office all decorated out. She had the men lined up - from engineers to plumbers. One guy bought her 4 Valentine's Day gifts. It was amazing.
The following day, they were still coming to her office to chat! Me and my secretary were beating them back all day. And the weird thing is she is nice looking, but usually rather plain.

After being the 'Goddess of motherhood' Thursday, for taking my teenagers to see 'Spamalot', I came home and promptly developed an earache.
By 3 a.m., I had driven myself to the emergency room. During the drive, I was the 'Goddess of prayer' for continually talking out loud to God and telling him that I had to get to the hospital. I then demanded, that's the only word, that he get me to the drug store and safely back home. After that, I was the 'Goddess of gratefulness'.
My supervisor had declined to let me take some sick leave on Friday so that I could go for my physical. So I sent him an email that I would not be in because I had a horrible ear infection and I would be at home on pain pills. I, later, followed that up w/ an email telling him the eardrum had ruptured. I think that made me the 'Goddess of guilt inducement'.
Yesterday, I was the 'Goddess of medication'.
Today, I think I shall be the 'Goddess of survival' as I am going to survive but I don't feel like doing anything. Still feel too weak and wobbly. I have on my very happy pink, green, and white striped flannel pants and a t-shirt that doesn't match. My hair is a mess, my face looks a bit pasty. But, I am so happy to feel better.
