"Do you want desserts, main dish, soups, appetizers?"

Oh, if you can, one of each would be nice. I'm soooooo tired of my own cooking.

This GODDESS is checking in for the day

Hair and makeup.... check

Outfit.... ok, a little "full" feeling because of you know what. For almost 4 years I didn't have one period, since I have lost my weight, I am totally consistent. Very weird. My friend says it is my body healing itself.

Apt.... kitchen [censored] and span, bathrooms, spotless. Bedroom, well I ran out of time.

Car.... check

Attitude.... not bad and very grateful

How is everyone else?

This is a bummed goddess! Went to the chiropractor tonight. I know I am less than a week out from the wreck but I told him I was willing to work hard to get my range of motion back - that I wanted the body I had before the wreck. Now, I did have neck and spine issues before but I don't want them to be worse because some idiot messed up. He told me that might be doubtful and asked if I had an attorney. What do I not know?

I will swim, walk, physical therapy, and massage my way back if need be. I just don't want to lose ground.

Start including G-d in your recovery and seek his guidance on this. I'm sorry Cinder that it wasn't the news you wanted to hear.

I'll be praying for you and the clarity of vision for the best way to heal your body. Have you ever gone to a naturopathic?

What you don't know is that he probably has an atty or more that he works with closely. I would get a second opinion. See your internist and get a referral to PT. Or get an attorney.

OK, Queenie, I can figure out what a naturopathic sounds like it might be. What is it really? What is their training?

I have a massage therapist who works for my chiro and who knows the issues I have going on. Maybe I need to talk w/ her and talk about some energy work. That sounds so wierd to say but I had an energy experience one time that intrigues me to this day.

I do have an internist and I have an orthopaedist.

Where to start....where to start.....YUCK....

I feel like the Goddess of Yuck!

Well, my business associate who I have known for over 13 years is a naturopathic who deals with MANY woowoo remedies. She believes in both western and eastern ways and combining them for maximum benefit. She works with this biofeedback machine that works amazing wonders. When I used it I would put my kids and husband on and see a lot of results.

Allow the GODDESS YUCK to be honored for just a little while, then start praying on where G-d leads you. I don't want you to feel like I am pushing her on you, but if you ever want to investigate I would love for you to call her just for info.

My H many years ago tore a ligament in his knee. It wasn't the most severe one, but it was very severe. It took a couple of years, but eventually he went back to playing soccer and lacrosse and he didn't have surgery on it and it's as good as new or better. Come to think of it, that's when he started really twisting in his mind. Oh well. Not my deal...

This is ABSOLUTELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE dessert recipes from the Food Network. It's unbelievable.

It's Not Your Mamma's Banana Pudding
Recipe courtesy Paula Deen

2 bags cookies (recommended: Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies)
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.

In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Mimi, this one is for you. I remember around Thanksgiving time when I was first getting to know you, you were making potato salad I think and it sounded awesome. Here is a recipe for you that you might like.

Picnic Chicken

2 lbs or 4 large chicken thighs
¼ cup dill pickle relish
¼ cup Dijon mustard
¼ cup mayonnaise
½ cup chicken broth

1. Rinse chicken well. Pat dry. Place in slow cooker with the skin side up.
2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the relish, mustard, and mayonnaise. When well blended, stir in chicken broth. Mix well.
3. Pour sauce over chicken
4. Cover cooker and cook on Low 6 – 7 hours, or until chicken is tender but not dry or mushy.

Well, I haven't found the knitted uterus yet BUT I have found:

You can order a pattern for a knitted breast!

AND

You can knit your own Princess Leia hat/wig (In the late 80s and early-mid 90s, I looked a lot like her - without the hair)

AND

The perfect solution for a 'bad hair day'

Cinders:

YOU NEED TO SEE A PHYSICIAN ASAP!! AND an attorney but for your own PHYSICAL HEALTH moreso than anything else it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for you to see your DOC..you will need to do so anyways in order to be referred to a PHYSICAL THERAPIST.

I made it happen..a joyful life..filled with peace, contentment, happiness and fabulocity.

Has anyone ever used Henna on their hair?

I am considering it for a change. I have always done highlights in the past, but I really want a change. I'm not sure I'm sold on the fact that You can't deye your hair for a year after you try it.....

Are there any bad sad effects on your hair? What about the smell?

I used Henna on my hair many years ago and had wonderful results. I don't remember is I waited or not. It was a very long time ago. But I did like the color and it lasted for awhile.

I have since gone to the stronger version of coloring and am happy with those results.

I didn't notice the smell, but remember I have two teenage boys who play lacrosse. Talk about smells.
