They found my car - still on the towing company's lot. A silver car of the same make had been moved instead. They sent someone out to walk the lot and there it was. IDGITS! Back and forth between two insurance companies and two salvagers......YUCK!!!!

Talked to telephone company today. They can remove $200 in charges w/in the next week!

I think I am regaining my sanity.

Cinders, sanity is overrated.

I don't know the story of the phone charges, but glad they found the car!

Good morning Goddesses! After recovering from surgery and NOT being so diligent in my Goddess at home appearance, Goddess preparation began again this week and going back to work.

Without being able to exercise the last few weeks I was very thankful I can still fit into my skinner pants that IMO look 'hot'!

Prepared for the outside world...hair done, clothes looking good, heels (not f-me heels, but heels none the less), makeup on. Ran into a friend I hadn't seen in awhile who asks, something is different about you...hummmm...what is it?!(Maybe a tad more confidence in looking nice?!) You look GREAT!

Thanks Goddesses for all the support and kick in the butt to get with IT!

Hello Goddesses!

Hope the outtage didn't take anymore of your sanity than you'd like to lose! grin

I dyed my hair AGAIN. I'm now back to brunnette, with auburn undertones. It looks GRRRRRREAT! Once springtime hits, and I can get some sun, it'll look even better against a light bronze palor.

I've been doing lots of cooking. I've instituted Seafood Sunday around this house, so I made Seafood Newburg with Asparagus and Sourdough bread for Easter supper. It was delish!

Next up is starting some gardening and, after getting the okay from my doc tomorrow (hopefully), incorporating some light weights and a new exercise program. I love Spring!

((((GOOD EVENING ALL GODDESSES)))))

Aren't we all glad to be back??? I have had a very long and rough time of it while the boards were down, but I DID NOT ignore my inner GODDESS self. Here's a list of things that I did...

1. WS took me "guilt" shopping....got a whole mess of new clothes. I found out that I am now in a size 4. woo hoo for me

2. Lost 4 more lbs. I have now lost 41 lbs. since Dday. I am one pound away from my goal weight. I have lost 4 pants sizes. Unfortunately, I also went down from a 38 c cup, to a 34 A/B cup. Oh well, can't win them all....

3. Got my hair done. Cut, colored and a deep-conditioning treatment. I love it.....

4. Got my waxing done...yeah..

5. still working on my GODDESS abode.

So, there you go ladies....considering how crazy everything has been for me, I think I accomplished a lot....

Current status of life as we know it.

Saw orthopedist at 7:30 Friday. Nothing significantly changed structurally but he does not like my decreased range of motion. See him again in 2 months after continuing w/ PT.

Got a massage about 10:30 Friday.

Looked at cars at 6 places Friday. Only bothered to start one. Do you know how hard it is to find a used midsized or full sized sedan that has not been smoked in and that costs under $6K?

Hennaed my hair Friday night....it actually seems a tad lighter looking and the gray in it is slightly golden - could be the lemon juice and chamomile tea in it or the saffron. Interesting change.

See the PT twice next week.

See the chiropractor once next week.

Went to Atlanta Saturday morning. Did the Aquarium, the High Museum of Art, and the Zoo. It snowed while we were at the elephant exhibit today. Crazy!

I feel like a new woman!!!!!!

I got my hair done. Trimmed & colored. And now I have an appt with a dermatologist. My skin is really messed up. And I think I've lost more weight. My clothes are looser. Trying to be positive and feel good.

Colored my hair yesterday, looks soooooooooooo much better without those nasty dark, grey/white roots and flyaways.

Well ladies, I got a new do today. It kinda hurt getting. My stylist basically gave me a haircut with the long spikey 80s ends on it. Something I always wanted, but my mom wouldn't let me get it cut like that back then?

The way he cuts, it, he kind of shreds the ends of the hair away, so it pulls your scalp. Ouch!

But boy it sure looke cool.

Tomorrow I go to the ENT. Still can't hear much w/ left ear and what I do hear is muffled and tinny. It doesn't feel like right ear. In fact, it still feels like there is fluid in there though it isn't draining. And, if you touch it, it seems numb to the touch.

I don't know if the outer ear's lack of sensation is related to the ear malfunction or to the car wreck.

Keep praying.

Chrys I hope the ENT is able to give you some good news on your ear problems.

Hi Fellow GODDESSES!

Well, well, well. I left town 5 weeks ago today, and came home 3 weeks ago tomorrow. The following day I tried to review MB and it was down! Oh well, I thought, I'll get other stuff done and then catch up. That was almost 2 weeks ago!! Now I sure feel lost!

I did not look like a Goddess while I was gone but did I ever feel like one!!

I went to help my MIL who has already been in the hospital 3 times this year. Did anyone see Oprah yesterday? My MIL has that same problem but to a lesser degree (only because she hasn't been driving for awhile now, but plans to start again soon). She hoards stuff, buys because it's a good deal etc. She did so good at getting rid of stuff! So many of the things she said about her habits and mess were just what the lady on Oprah said.
I was there for 1 day short of 3 weeks and what a difference we made! So, like I said, I felt like a Goddess, but in my work clothes I didn't look like one! Hearing her words at the end made it all worthwhile! "The house feels lighter" is what she told me!

I am barely getting back to normal around here. I haven't put make-up on since I left and I'm wearing grubby clothes again around the house. Need to adjust my attitude again. Somehow I feel like it is ok to wear this stuff when it's "just us" around the house. Only wore sweats once though!

Good to be back. I haven't read the whole thread to get caught up but I sure hope all is well!
Believer, good job on the dress up for work! Wow.

Winter is fading and spring is incoming....can't wait! I may try to dig my way to the greenhouse today. We still have a foot or more of snow on the flat and much more in the drifts and piles. It will be awhile but hey, it will be worth it! The temps are coming up (40+ in the day and anywhere from 0 to 30 at night.) Imagine the shock coming home from Arizona! It can be bad to leave town in the winter and come back to this. The rest of the world is warmer than us. But with my new Goddess attitude it wasn't near as bad as it has been in years past!

Have a great day all!
